Another curiously in my eyes is how in the bible god is has killed approximately a listed 2.5 million people and Satan has killed 10.

And that's not including the flood!

The ones God killed were already dead
---If you had dead flesh hanging on your body would you leave it
---...Or cut it off?

God merely finalized the formality of cutting them off from the body
God created humans for him...not for satan.
When satan(evil) infects the body of Christ past a certain point, its time to cut such a person/s off by the destruction of their flesh before it spreads and gets worse.
In this way, the purpose for themselves as well as others, is that their spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

The story of Balaams donkey :D I like how God cares enough about a "mere animal" to let it speak in it's own defense.

The most amazing part is that, by the way the story is told, Balaam does not seem the least bit surprised to have his donkey speak to him.... I think I'd fall off if one I was riding talked to me

So, you ACTUALLY took the time to peruse Scripture with a calculator and count all the way to 2.5 million? That in itself is certainly a CURIOSITY, especially as you are an atheist.

This instance in the Bible actually crossed my mind when writing the OP. :) It is the ONLY INSTANCE that I am aware of where God spoke through an animal, or an animal spoke and was of God..........whatever.......

The RULE OF THUMB I have lived by is IF AN ANIMAL is speaking to you, telling you to do something, run, Run, RUN! For you can be sure it is NOT from God.

:)

Are ya sure it wasn't that Balaam was being such an Ass, that at the time only a donkey could speak his language?

No doubt he was being stubborn....... :)

But it was God who "used" the donkey to communicate with Balaam, and this is the only instance in Scripture that I can think of where God did such. Do you know of another? I can't think of one......sigh...

I've very seldom seen God use the same method twice where in comparison we as humans aren't so original.
Although I do know of another circumstance where God used a fish to communicate a message without words to a certain individual
;)

Well, I might suggest that it was the very same language that those who "sang the song of Moses" used.

[see Revelation 15:3]
