9Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;
teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11For through wisdom[SUP]
b[/SUP] your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life.
12If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;
if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.
There is power in wisdom given to others, and, that power comes from God, and suffering is going to lead to bad fruits of your mocking others. These proverbs in Chapter 9 tell us that we are to fear God, this is the beginning of becoming wise, this TAKES FAITH, as I see it, and, then, the spirit of God, who LIVES in those who've received Him, through FAITH, is understood.
Profound understanding, here, I think.
Or, not. For me, it is saying a lot of the power of God unto my life, that the Lord is leading me when I use my gifts given from Him to help others understand Him more, yet so, even those who are wise, to help them understand God and be all the wiser in understanding of His blessings for their life through giving Him glory
