I need help with something. a couple of times an image has appeared in my minds eye to be specific it's the eyes of Jesus but what is profound about it is the color of his eyes, they blue but are shimmering or shining however you want to envision it.
This for some reason spoke to me deeply the color blue shining like that did something inside me made some sort of spark.

But even so I have no idea if it's biblical or not, I wouldn't even know what the biblical; meaning for blue is if there even is one and for that matter any other color. So I was hoping someone here would know or at least point me in the right direction to find out, I want to search the bible but looking for the word blue is not enough I need to find it's biblical meaning and why those shining blue eyes spoke to me so deeply

I have difficulty believing that Jesus' eyes were blue. If so, he would probably have been "run out of the tribe" as a child. (like a white wolf)

That part of the world is made up of darker, olive-skinned people with brown eyes, for the most part.

Colors meaning something is more Catholic tradition, than Bible.

Shimmering blue means something to you because in visual fantasies (movies, TV shows, comics, even novels, etc.) shimmering blue means a strong courageous leader. It's equivalent to white hats in old westerns.

Funny thing. One of the characters in my novel has blue shimmering eyes for that very reason -- so readers know quickly that he's one of the good guys -- a strong courageous leader.

(Yes, it is a fantasy.)

Blue Eyes???

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
(Rev 1:14)

Blue Fire???

I have heard two other people say His eyes are green. These were people who technically died, went to heaven, saw Jesus, but came back to this life.

ty all for your input:) I know that numbers have meaning to God, numbers are used all throughout the bible even the hebrew language has a number value for each letter and certain numbers are used quite often in the bible, and so it wouldn't surprise me if colors also had meaning to him I have never heard of blue eyes meaning a strong courageous leader but that certainly does describe Jesus.

Well, in Revelation it's written that Jesus has eyes of fire. Fire is blue.

Well, in Revelations 4:5 it is written: "...and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God."

Now visible light when it passes through a prism reveals seven colors of light yet in John 4:24 it is written, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

So are they the seven Gods of God, or the seven Spirits of Spirit?

But as far a blue being the hottest light, according to one website: https://van.physics.illinois.edu/qa/listing.php?id=1545

Blue flames aren’t always hotter than yellow flames, because the color of light emitted by the flame can depend on exactly which atoms and molecules are in the flame. Each atom or molecule has certain special frequencies (colors) at which it absorbs and emits light, just like a musical instrument has special frequencies at which it absorbs and emits sound. Sometimes that’s more important than the temperature of the flame in setting the color. Some chemicals burn with a blue color, for example, so that if you burn some of these on an ordinary fire it will look blue for a while (some fireplace logs may do this). This does not mean that the temperature of the whole fire went up, just that these chemicals made the color change.
