Any of you that like Astronomy might like this. The bible is actually filled with Astronomy... The bible makes many references to the Sun and moon and Stars.
So in 2014 and 2015 there will be what is called a 'Blood moon' Tetrad...Which is a sequence of many Blood moons in a row, quite a rare occurrence...
Of course this bring to mind the Revelation passage,
"I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood."~Revelation 6:12
This isn't the only thing happening with the Sky though...
Last year there was of course the Venus Transit. Not only that but if you payed attention to the sky You might have also Notice the Venus-Mercury Conjunction of the Moon.http://www.emilivanov.com/Other_Images/2012_02_25_Venus_Jupiter_Mercury_Moon_m.jpg
There is supposed to be another Venus-Mercury Intersection in 2013, in May I believe.
Also the year 2013 is the year Scientists say is The Peak in Solar Activity.
"And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars." ~Luke 21:25
All Ancient Civilizations had very Advanced, Complex knowledge of the Stars and vast cycles of Time.
Are these Signs that the Earth will be going through Changes?
The birth of Jesus was Of course marked by a Bright Star...Also Ancient Astronomers tied into the Birth of Jesus, The so called "Wise Men."
Jesus himself in Revelation is given these words by the Author of the Book "Behold I am the Root of David, the Bright Morning Star." at the very end of Revelation.
