We are all born with a sin nature that needs to be born again by the Blood of Jesus. Nobody is born a Christian, no scripture to back that one. Hopefully there are no churches out there teaching that false statement.

No doubt......easy question....easy answers....too bad some have to cut and past books to just simply answer the question for sure!

John was a special case. We all must be "born again" by repenting of our sins and accepting Christ.

Also, as I said before, being "born again" is not a new teaching in the New Testament, either. For Jesus appeared surprised that Nicodemus did not know about being born again. If your interested, here is a short clip from the "Gospel of John" film (Taken verbatim from the "Good News Translation" GNT) that will hopefully makes things a little clearer here at YouTube.

That book I quote is the Bible.

For why are you trying to hindering the cause of Christ by me showing Scripture about being "being born again"?

If you disagree with the verses, please tell me how you disagree and back that up with Scripture, my friend.

Well......first of all I did not say Jason posting books....second....movies and chic tracts are not the bible....third no problem with the scriptures you posted although I will say...it is convenient how you quote the O.T. when you want to use it to defend your position, but will argue against it if it is used against your position dude.......so.......take a chill pill amigo and quote away!

And if you read...I agree that a man must be born again and walk in a biblical manner to be truly labeled a Christian...

what people usually mean when they say they were 'born a christian' is that they were born into a christian family and raised in the christian faith and have never known anything else...hence they often don't have the type of 'conversion story' many christians seem to expect...

honestly it is sad how i have seen people with this kind of testimony looked down on by people with more 'impressive' testimonies...just because they can't tell a story of being saved at a billy graham crusade or crying out to God after too many acid flashbacks or whatever doesn't make them less christian or mean that God has not worked powerfully in their lives...

There is a saying not in the bible but I'd say is biblically sound...

''God has no grandchildren''

We each have to be born from above.

Then who else was your post in reference to if it was not me?

second....movies and chic tracts are not the bible....
So you think it is wrong to use tracts? What is the difference between a tract vs. a preacher that give the same gospel message? Surely your not against the gospel being spread in different ways. Also, the gospel of John film is taken verbatim from the Good News Translation. Granted it is not the KJV, but it is helpful translation on many passages. Yes, the actors and the sets are not inspired, but I was not pointing out those things.

third, no problem with the scriptures you posted although I will say...it is convenient how you quote the O.T. when you want to use it to defend your position, but will argue against it if it is used against your position dude......
Salvation has always been in God. That doesn't mean that the Law hasn't changed. For it would be silly to think that we are under the Law when there is no more Temple or priesthood to sacrifice animals anymore. The Temple veil has been torn.

.so.......take a chill pill amigo and quote away!
I only have a problem with the way you communicate because you seem to be hostile or mean to whatever I say.

And if you read...I agree that a man must be born again and walk in a biblical manner to be truly labeled a Christian...
I am glad. But how can we say we walk in a biblical manner and also make it appear we hate our brother?
