Seldom do I even mention my views concerning Continuationism except when they are under assault by someone else. I don't push my views because I don't feel that they are requirement for salvation. The same with my views on eschotology.

The way I see it, if we are incapable of expressing the love of God for others then we have no business attempting to teach anyone anything. Regardless if our words are true, our bitter actions will only drive them away thus we become a bigger hinderence to both the truth and the cause of Christ than a help.
what is the 'requirement for salvation'?

you can talk about love all day long.

if you're teaching Finney's 'theology' you're not teaching the truth.

simple.

Im not sure what you point is, do you like him or despise him? If you like him I am sure I would not want to read any book he has written. If you despise him then my guess would be he is a great man of God
exactly.
so.....are you going to answer yes or no?

think before you do.

Think before I do, is that some kind of threat? Who do you think you are? I get my beliefs from Jesus, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, James and Jude, through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Where do you get your twisted beliefs?

Think before you answer

1 John 4:20

If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [ in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

notIbutChrist, you are getting the wrong idea from Zone.

Good advice: If one should come across sinless she will not stop until all is exposed.

That scripture reference had nothing to do with Finney. I was referring to your hostile actions toward anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Anyways... this is where I make my departure.

That is the thing we should never speak righteousness of ourselves because the only righteousness is He that is in us.

We live by grace alone, and you know this already.

Consider yourself less important than others.

Good idea crossfire, let us not fall into her trap, let her expose herself.

I totally agree, and people who think they can cause themselves to become righteous are deluded. However Zone doesn't oppose self righteous only, but any righteousness, even righteousness that comes from Christ

Is crossfire your brother?

*lol* Funny...

Technically speaking, I could show show how I'm a 3 ... almost 4 point Calvinist but that would start a riot.

Romans 6:14-15
(14) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(15) What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

1 John 3:8

(8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Philippians 4:13
(13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

This is said but true

To Zone, eg, or anyone else this may apply to, If one who claims to know Jesus attacks one who truly seeks to honor Him and live holy there is a problem.

Why do you attack all who speak of love, obedience, righteousness, and holiness?
We are not attacking people who speak of this. We are fighting the lie that says one is saved by the law, and that one could ever be perfect. If Paul was not perfect. How or why would we expect anyone else to be!

Considering this comment, You have utterly no idea what Zone believes. What you know is she apposes your phariseeacle belief, are offended and are angry. and just wish to attack anyone who does not agree with you.

I dont see anyone saying that
and that one could ever be perfect.
I guess that depends on your definition of perfect
If Paul was not perfect. How or why would we expect anyone else to be!
God did perfect Paul. As the word says to follow him as He follows Christ. Scripture would not say this if Paul wasn't following Christ perfectly
