Speaking against His Holy SPirit is to deny that you can be like Him, have His same SPirit in you. Be one with Him, He in you and you iin Him as one. If you do not believe Him that you can be, then you are speaking against His will for you to be like Him. God sent an example , a prototype, for you to be like and if you cant be, you dont follow His way for you at all and blatantly denying Him.

Dont tell God or me that you follow the way of Christ then outright refuse to be like Him.b he cant fogive that, He cant give to you what you dont believe from Him.
OMG.

Jesus was a PROTOTYPE?
and we are to become deity?

i see a vacancy coming up soon.
this doesn't go over here well.

Doesn't anybody read the clear and concise biblical explanation of the unforgiveable sin, that we are posting? Why do people keep giuving their own opinions, when the Word of God explains it?

I am wondering if there is a new cult. There seems a number of people on this site seem to believe they cannot be saved until they have become perfect and therefore will suffer much agony whenever they fail God. This cult will result in filling many psychiatric hospitals as these people become obsessed that they cannot be forgiven.

There comes a time in a person's life (like Pharoah) when his heart becomes so hardened against God that his conscience dies. See for example 1 Timothy 4:1-2

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;l

If you use a hot iron on your arm, you will receive a burn scar that cannot be healed. It is DEAD skin. In the same way, those who continue to reject God's way of salvation experience a hardening of their conscience. Jesus was speaking directly to the Jewish leaders who were hardening their hearts to Jesus. It got so bad that they started to attribute the miracles of Jesus to demons. That is FULL blasphemy. Even then, there are some Jewish people who maybe came to Jesus later on, but THOSE WHO SAID these things had probably reached the furthest point in their apostasy against God. For them to say such things against Jesus meant that they would NEVER receive Jesus as the Messiah. Therefore it was impossible for them to be forgiven.

It is only through receiving and believing in Jesus that we can be forgiven! Those who go through a whole life of rejecting Jesus as the Saviour and Messiah have committed a sin that cannot be forgiven. Their hearts have become callous!

It was at this point (the Jewish leaders calling the works of the Holy Spirit within Jesus demonic) that Jesus told them that there house was being left desolate.

Look, ALWAYS get verses into context to understand the real meaning.

It is ONLY Jesus who can 100% claim that His works are of the Holy Spirit. None of us can be 100% certain. This is why we have been taught to "test the spirits to see whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" 1 John 4:1

Let us consider another thought, put things in a different way. What if false prophets are claiming that their demonic spirit is the Holy Spirit? Is that not also blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

Hi Sister

I have now read that link. However, I notice that you posted an earlier thread in July 2011 using that link as an OP. Wow it received 53 pages of response. Too many pages for me to read through. I read through a selection to see how the adherents of sinless perfection responded. I can see all the regulars there. Clearly nothing has changed their opinions over the last 3 months.

What I have noticed on this forum is that very few read the full OP or follow threads through properly. Most just like to say their piece (out of context) without considering what others have to say, ie it seems they are not capable of modifying their views even if proved false. THEY WILL NOT BE MOVED!

Maybe, instead of reading, maybe just maybe a video may have a better result. Therefore, I will give a video link (a series of 4) entitled "Do Christians Commit Sin" that covers much more ground but is easy to listen to and quicker than reading. For the link to the first video (the others follow one after the other) please CLICK HERE

Zone, please let me know what you think of them

Some do! Maybe after I have reminded them. How do we know that they click on the visual link? Have others got better responses doing that? If so, please let me know how to get it appearing visually. I don't know how to do it.

Thanks. Bless you for helping out

Hi Sister

I didn't see your closing comment at first "suggestion can we move this to another thread where the OP is still with us?" Sorry, I'm not sure I understand the last part of the question.

outstanding.
thanks john.

the young man is gifted.

i really appreciated his coverage of washer, particularly the clip from his sermon AGAINST Romans 8 "carnal christians" destroying lives. so true, and really increasing lately, i notice among certain groups.

~

i multi-media as well, unfortunatley my MP3 player packed it in and i'm really hurting (love the audios at bedtime....grrr.....$)

reading is still my fav. evlin woodhead sped reddin'....

thanks again, good vids and really, it's the ALREADY/NOT YET tension paul so amazingly describes in Romans 7...which the perfectionists HAVE TO ascribe to his "former life". absurdity. how does a dead man who glories in his shame and sin realize with his spirit he's doing the things he now hates? LOL>

2 thumbs up.

Everyone who has what Jesus had knows 100% Gods work in them. If one is confused about his roll and who you are supposed to be and what you are supposed to be doing then I would take another dip in the pool.

And only because one accuses another of false prophecy doent mean he is a false prophet, perhaps it is you are not in the same place as the one you accuse. Wasn’t Jesus accused of blaspheme and a false prophet? Did that mean he was false? Not to God … but it did to the ones who didn’t understand him.

Nope Gary where a prophets person is at has nothing to do with whether he is a true or false
prophet. God has already given us the rules for judging a prophet. None of them include a dip in a pool,
nor whether we are or not in the same place as he is. This is not good advise Gary...its actually a
terrible misleading of sorts in a very serious place. If you dont intend to mislead people please learn the
word and will of God on this matter and dont add or take away from it.
