A lot of people do not understand what healing is and does and how we as Christians can activate it.

I'll make this short concise and child friendly that all are able to read because this is key.

Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

So by Jesus's stripes we are healed, this means by what he went through this is how we know perfect love.

John 13-14
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

So the question needs to be asked, how do we unlock the understanding of the love Jesus gave when he was painfully led to death.

We suffer with him through trials and tribulations so we understand how much he loves us through the journey of falling short, messing up and heart break.

Luke 7:47
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

So let's speak of a certain man who was a Roman citizen as well as a Pharisee, the Apostle Paul, he persecuted the church and was forgiven above all men making him chief-sinner, he counted it all but dung to gain Christ and live a holy life, he then was accounted for many miracles which where unique from all biblical figures because of his learning of other jewish literature.

Acts 26:24
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.

Philippians 3:2-6
2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. 4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Luke 7:47
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Acts 19:11-12
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

And don't forget what the Lord said regarding love-.

Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

So is the healing physical or spiritually? I am not sure which one you are trying to say. I may have misunderstood. If I did forgive me please.

It starts of in the spirit, that's the moving of God, then it manifest in the physical through holy men and women, to be holy is to be from God.

1 Peter 15-17
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

All Christians are holy, set apart.

John 15:18-20
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Perhaps you might do a search, for threads on CC, and see all the answers that have been given on this issue. I think we are mostly played out on this issue.

So no, you aren’t going to teach me anything, with your out of context verses, your sliding around what you are trying to say, to say nothing of pulling things out of the NT which really have little to do with the topic of healing.

I should say that he has adequately demonstrated that he is one of those who do not understand healing in a scriptural context.

There are times when saying nothing is far better than opening your mouth and removing all doubt of the lack of wisdom.

Please look at the context closely at Isaiah 53 starting at vs4, I will summarize. he bore our griefs and our sorrows. What causes our griefs and sorrows? Vs5, He was pierced for what, our transgression, i.e our sins. This is backed up by the next sentence, "He was crushed for our iniquities. Vs6, All of us are like sheep who have gone astray. In what respect has all of us gone astray and followed our own way so as God the Father saw fit to crush His only begotten Son by having our sins fall on Him. Does anyone see physical healing in the immediate context?

Now look at what the Apostle Peter said at 1 Peter 2:24-25, "and He Himself bore our sins in His body, (not in His spirit by taking on the nature of Satan like wof teachers teach) on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness, for by His wounds you were healed." Vs25, For ( or because) you/us were continually straying like sheep (we are not straying from getting physically healed) but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls/your whole being."

It seems pretty clear to me, so where am I wrong? Does all of this mean I don't believe in physical healing, of course not. Like I said the immedate context is spiritual healing bringing us back to good graces of God Almighty. Remember what Jesus said at Matthew 10:28, "And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
