We need to be a little careful here. I know I'm guilty of this, too; but we need to look at Jesus' example. The only time he was angry, argumentative, and sarcastic was when He was dealing with the pious religious leaders of the day. When he was with the lost and unbelieving people, He showed love and compassion.

We can still reason with the nonbelievers who are on this site, but we shouldn't be fighting or rude. We are to show the love of Christ to them because THAT is how they will know that we are His disciples. A person's soul is always more important that my desire to prove my point.

Matthew 21:10) And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 .) And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 .) And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 .) And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Luke 19:41) And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 .) Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 .) For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 .) And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 .) And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 .) Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Ephesians 4:22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 .) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 .) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 .) Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 .) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 .) Neither give place to the devil.

2nd Corinthians 6:14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 .) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 .) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 .) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 .) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Absolutely. "A person's soul is always more important that my desire to prove my point." As we remember this for non-believers, we need to remember it for fellow believers as well.

Not just here on CC but everywhere. I spend far too much time getting my kids to stop arguing because 99 times out of 100 it's over something so trivial it isn't worth the effort it takes to form the words. Not saying I've never done it, but I usually stop myself before it gets ridiculous.
