The history of the Quran refers to the oral revelation of the Quran to Islamic prophet Muhammad, and its subsequent written compilation into a manuscript was completed during the life of Prophet Muhammad. It spans several decades and forms an important part of early Islamic history.
According to Muslim belief and Islamic scholarly accounts, it is said the history of the Quran began in the year 610 (ad)when the angel Gabriel (Arabic: جبريل, Jibrīl or جبرائيل, Jibrāʾīl) appeared to Muhammad in the caveHira near Mecca, reciting to him the first verses of Sura Iqra (al-`Alaq), beginning the revelation of the Quran. Throughout his life, Muhammad continued to have revelations until before his death in 632.[SUP][1][/SUP] Muslims agree that the manuscript, or version, of the Quran we see today was compiled by Uthman, the third caliph (reign 644 to 656); a caliph being the political leader of a Caliphate (Islamic government). For this reason, the Quran as it exists today is also known as the Uthmanic codex.

the big issue is, torah v new covenant.
so dates are given etc
so are muslems following an old covenant, that christian know there is a new covenant.
ie old testament jews, don t believe in jesus, as the son of god.

the point is, political correctness, dose not close the differences, between the the two bibles.

history has been open to non christian jew, and muslims, because of the apostles of the new covenant, and the bible never when to print to around 1500ad , so the silent years, like danel, open up, two different religions, so can be read in a modern world. to many different religions, to the history to the facts of history.
