Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Many here are missing the whole point.

1. Homosexuals are not Born again Christians.
2. Homosexuals do not follow God.
3. The sin of Homosexuality only applies to Born again Christians.

Lets reason about this.

What is the very first thing God does when He Judges us? He looks to see if our name is in the Book of Life. If our name is not in the Book of Life we cannot enter into Paradise with God. If our name is in the Book of Life then we will enter into Paradise with God.

We need to first give these people the message that Jesus is real and Jesus loves then and Jesus wants them to walk with Him.

Does it matter if Gay people Marry each other? After all they are not following God to begin with.

As a True Christian who follows God i cannot force others to follow what God says who are not Christians. I'm not endorsing Gay Marriage but i believe we have no business in forcing others to live by God's rules.

Instead we need to reach out to these souls, not condemn them for being caught up in the sins of the World.

Thats the problem with "Repent or else" signs when preaching to the lost. Its the wrong message, because it isn't so much them turning from their sin as it is their turning to the Savior of mankind. People preach against sin instead of preaching on God's goodness that leads men to repentance. You say you would not only (but still) say to an unbeliever to "stop being a sodomite and you will be saved" but that is not the good news (the Gospel) of Jesus Christ. Its a salvation and righteousness that is based in faith. It is of faith.

For you to say that to them is not the Gospel. He came to save sinners, not the righteous. You cannot tell a person that they must stop committing some sin in order to be saved because it makes of salvation a works-based gospel no different than religions of the world that try to attain some standard of righteousness to reach Heaven.

Yes, you can tell them they are in sin, they are condemned without Christ. You can call it like it is. Yet, the issue isn't their sins (plurality) but their sin of disbelief in Jesus Christ. He has paid the penalty for their sin. In fact, He is the propitiation for the sins of the world. They only need to place faith in Him and their sin's will experience remission by the blood of Christ. You, in converting a non-believer, shouldn't be so preoccupied with sin as so much as their belief. God will take care of their sin, and in Christ and under grace, sin's dominion is broken. God sanctifies and chastises His children, so unless they are a bastard, you have no need to worry.

Yes, this thread is about whether a Christian can endorse gay marriage, but I read the conversation between you and Blain and noticed you were preaching a false gospel message and thought it needed addressing lest you give a homosexual reading this thread a message of condemnation and no hope. God loves them and doesn't condemn them. That is the truth. He wants them to be His children. They only need to believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
God does not sanction homosexuality. It is one of the few things that is called an abomination and has a death penalty in the bible. The bible clearly says that sodomites are not going to inherit the kingdom no matter what. No defiling person is going to enter. Unless our righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and pharisees we will never enter into the Kingdom of God. You can receive Christ without works but you can not remain in your sins if you are to enter the Kingdom. He will say to many in the day when He comes , go away from me you workers of iniquity. Pray that your faith fail you not.

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Can a Christian be pro-child molester or pro-murderer? That is just as ridiculous. Homosexuality is one of the sins listed in the verse that says do not be deceived, anyone who lives like this will not enter heaven. In no way, shape, or form can a true Christian promote homosexuality. If he changes his name from John to Jane, do not call him Jane! If she dresses like a man, do not refer to her as a him! Do not let them in the pulpit, and flee from the church that does.

Homosexuality is sin, but so is murder, physical attacks, etc. Remember that God is their judge, not us. Treat them as you would any other sexual sinner- rapists, child molesters, beastiality, flashers, streakers, orgies, or prostitutes.

Can a Christian be pro-malice or pro-slander of other members in the body of Christ? Of course this gets by-passed as it is a very common sin with us Christians.

All sin is destructive and deadly to all of us no matter what form it comes in from homosexuality to malice and envy.

The difference lies in some people's minds is that some sin is worse ( and that may be in our own eyes ) but in reality those of us that do not struggle with the sins that others do - can be quick to judge them as being not a true Christian.

I am not for any sin including homosexuality as can be seen by my posts in this thread earlier on.

And here below is a video of a guy that was a Christian that came out of the lifestyle by Jesus Himself manifesting His love for him while he was living with his supposed lover.

It's kind of funny as his "lover" thought he was having an affair because the guy started to be filled with the love of Jesus and did not want to have sex with him anymore. ( I know this could blow our religious minds but it happened and now that man is free )

Proverbs 6:16-19
[SUP]16 [/SUP]There are six things which the Lord hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,
[SUP]18 [/SUP]A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that run rapidly to evil,
[SUP]19 [/SUP]A false witness who utters lies,
And one who spreads strife among brothers.

How many people here on this chat site spread strife among brothers? A lot.

Just remember every time you point to a person condemning them for their sins you have 3 fingers pointing back at you!

John 8:
But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and He sat down and began to teach them. [SUP]3 [/SUP]The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, and having set her in the center of the court, [SUP]4 [/SUP]they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in adultery, in the very act. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?” [SUP]6 [/SUP]They were saying this, testing Him, so that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground. [SUP]7 [/SUP]But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” [SUP]8 [/SUP]Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. [SUP]9 [/SUP]When they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the center of the court. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” [SUP]11 [/SUP]She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.”

I'm not in favor of gay marriage, but I don't think we have to promote demonstrations against it. Some countries today PERMIT same sex marriage, but they don't FORCE us to marry the same gender. If worldly authorities permit divorce (with no adultery involved), which is a sin, they can also permit gay marriage.

Not sure what any of that had to do with Christians being pro-gay. I must have missed it...

I am not sure if you are referring to people who state the truth of the bible as pro-malice and pro-slander. Obviously some sins have greater judgment than others.

Proberbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.
Probverbs 15:32
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
Proberbs 12:1
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

Leviticus 19:15
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Leviticus 19:17
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

2 Timothy 2:1
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous[SUP]b[/SUP] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[SUP]c[/SUP] 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 4:16
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Do some people think others are their enemy for telling the truth ? Correct me if I am mistaken.

Your opinion is spot on and biblical.

I think as Christians we need to stop looking at Homosexuality as a Gay issue but as a Sin issue. Christians can't tolerate sin in our lives and we shouldn't be made to approve of it in other peoples lives. The problem is when a Sin becomes an Agenda like the homosexual debate has become. The Agenda is to make Christians look evil and the Sin (homosexuality) look good. Now the Agenda is seeping into the Church itself with homosexuals saying it is ok to be one and be a Christian. Before this it was ok I'm a homosexual but I'm not acting on it. This was acceptable and no one really paid any attention to it. What was it before this?

We need to stop allowing the darkness enter our Church's. If we can't shine a light in our own Church's how are we going to be the light for the rest of the world?

You are mistaken...I am talking about malice and slander and how that they are just as deadly to us as homosexuality or murder. Sin is deadly and destroys us in all it's forms.

Some like to "mask" this malice and slander under the heading of "rebuke". They are subtle little creatures - this malice and slander but walking by the Spirit can overcome these and every other sin so we preach the grace of God as it teaches us how to live godly in this present world.

I believe so. They should have the same protection and benefits under the civil law as anyone else does.

The debate itself is pointless, counts for nothing.. Who cares? There has only been one "marriage" brought together, blessed, by Almighty and debating any marriage at all is fruitless and pointless. This goes for all thing in the world of the Liar. There is no conflict or debate in and with truth, there is Love. If someone is not standing on Truth with Love, then they should not stand.

If the christian state religion say so, then maybe you should not be a "christian", but a follower of Christ of the nation of Israel, keeping He's ways and not mans ways of damnation of hell.

The term homosexuality is not used in that passage. There were words in Greek that would have conveyed that. They are not used. Word choice is important as is their placement in the passage. This is an important distinction.

The gay thing in the state church is what happens when people don't preach Gods commandments. What is there to expect ? Anything goes. God is spewing out of He's mouth the lukewarm and they are getting turned over to their sins and to a reprobate mind to do that which is against nature so they all might be damned because they not only approve of it but take pleasure in those who do it. It is demonic and straight from hell. It is the lust of the flesh of satan. Lust is the appetite of demons expressed through men.

Know that there is no righteousness in the world, the world is wrong and you do not know about sin, judgement nor do you know Jesus or God. You are without God, without Love, and everything you know is a lie, you do not know a single truth, that is until now and you where given it here.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ( 1 Cor. 13:4-7 )

God is Love, Love is God. True worshippers worship God in the Spirit and in Truth. If the flesh is what rules you, and debating thing of the flesh is what holds you, that's your choice but, know you speak for yourself, you speak no words given to you by Jesus or God. For God is a Spirit and you must worship him a such. What is of the dirt and your word counts for nothing, as does your opinions and words concerning that nothing. Worshipper of God will be given God's Truth's, and those Truth with end all your debating and foolishness.
