Id come to your funeral if you wish.. and if then there would be one I would die too and we both can share a grave and HisHolly will laugh at us and raise us up lol

If I woke up with a tarantula on my pillow, I'd be a goner. Heart failure for sure.. lol

PS: Tarantulas are beautiful!

Even back when I was scared of spiders, I didn't mind Tarantulas, I even held one without problems.
(If I saw an ordinary spider I'd run out of the room). Now I don't mind either as long as they don't try crawling up a sleeve

Dunno. There is nothing in the bible specifically saying they do or don't.

If they don't though, I doubt we will miss them, as there will be no mourning there.

PS* I've had cats much of my life and would love to see them again, but imagine the number of animals if we all had our pets with us up there!
Psalm 36 refers to God's love for animals. I'll take that as a yes, they are in Heaven.

Also, Jesus teaches us that we are to let things be done according to our faith in Him. I have asked Jesus to bless animals with eternal life in Heaven; I believe He has done so; I claim it in His Name, therefore it is done.

I don't see how we can be happy in heaven if our beloved animals aren't there. God knew our pets even before he brought them into creation and He is certainly capable of restoring life to the little critters. There will be insects in heaven also along with other newly created animals and plant life.

I believe animals can go to heaven, although I have found most Christians disagree. I actually heard on TV that it was a basic Christian belief that animals don't have a soul and can't enter into heaven. Just wanted to hear your thoughts.
They are living souls. And everything that is living and breathing has the breath of God in it.

As is said in Ecclesiastes - body goes to the ground and spirit to God who gave it.

So, according to me, they will be in heaven. Or on a new Earth. They do not sin so they need no salvation to go there.

BTW you can pray for that to happen. God hears our prayers. And there is nothing in the Bible that says "no animals in heaven". So pray.

I agree. All the good animals go to heaven. Even the bad ones. They just need a little loving attention.

Animals don't have souls so no,they do not go to heaven. But there will be animals in heaven which God has created.

Of course they have soul. And they know about God.

"And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"

This is from a previous thread created hundreds of years ago.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21: “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath (literally “spirit“); humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?”

An animal cannot receive salvation ergo they do not have a soul. And thats all I'll say on the subject as you and I are at logger heads over everything it seems. I'll leave you to your opinion.Be blessed.

While I believe animals do go to Heaven, I think you are taking those verses way, way out of context. I think solomon was attempting to show that living for any reason other than God was useless and akin to being an animal.

"In his hand is the soul of every living thing." Job 12:7

And His hand is a good hand. Do not worry about your pets. They will be OK.

They do not need salvation. Because their fallen state is not their fault.

"For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God."
Rom 8:20

Bible is very clear about it. We just need to get 1 + 1 together.

Well I will tell you this,I lost my old boy last year. He loved me and would protect me,and hubby, with his life. But he hated just about everyone else. I dont see how he got into heaven. He was my boy but he was often a bad boy! :)

Do not worry, they do not have sins. He was not really "bad". You will see him again.
