Yes I started off with a bang its like you post for others to add revelation then you get the ones that have College major in the minors.
The Bible discussion forum unfortunately isn't known for it's Christian kindness. You do get a lot of debates, though. Also, plagiarism isn't minor and we could only assume that you had, since you did not quote. Thanks for setting that straight, though! I understand dying screens :D.

So many come and try to lead people away to other sites... I'm weary of this
this line of text is autogenerated whenever anyone copies a block of text from the website in the link:

it's a common line of HTML in websites, to add "
read more: (link to originating website)" whenever any visitor highlights text on the page and presses "copy"

Kisha wasn't trying to "
lead people away" lol -- Tozer is a very famous Christian pastor & theologian, and everything in the OP quote has reference to various parts of scripture - here i've annotated the quote with just a few that i recognize without much thought:

Now, as always,
((Hebrews 13:8, Malachi 3:6))
God discloses Himself to "babes"
((Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21))
and hides Himself in thick darkness
((Isaiah 60:2, Psalm 18:11))
from the wise and the prudent.
((James 4:6, Psalm 31:20, Proverbs 3:34))
We must simplify our approach to Him.
((1 Corinthians 1:17, Romans 13:8))
We must strip down to essentials
((Matthew 22:38-40, Micah 6:8))
(and they will be found to be blessedly few).
((Matthew 11:28-30))
We must put away all effort to impress,
((1 Samuel 16:7, Matthew 6:1-7, Psalm 94:11, Psalm 147:10-11))
and come with the guileless candor of childhood.
((Matthew 18:3, 19:14))
If we do this, without doubt God will quickly respond.
((2 Chronicles 7:14, 2 Peter 3:0))

i hope this helps :)

Nope I sure didn't write it and I was getting to give credit to whom its due but my screen died out. Wow this site is unreal.
Sorry but you're wrong here. Portions of what you wrote are from the link and other parts in between are your writings. IOW you didn't copy and paste verbatim from the link, you literally used some of his writings mixed with your own words and that is a fact.

That's called plagiarism.

You made it appear it was from you while mixing in another's writings with yours.

And, if pointing this out isn't "Christian kindness in the BDF" that's just too bad, because pointing out purposeful deception is actually Christian and is actually kindness. You should have just owned it instead of making an excuse.

Hi loveme1, your devotion to scripture a alone indeed is good :). At the same time, why limit God? He is able to speak scriptural truths through his own. As long as they are not in anyway opposed to God's Word, there is no harm, it can actually be edifying. A.W. Tozer is actually a very reliable person to help guide you through Biblical Truths alongside The Holy Spirit:)

By the Grace of God I limit not but a w tozer is a man that wrote many books and I question the need.

GOD gave us Scripture and I question the intentions of those compelled to write and sell books....

Now if you read the op again you will see that most are reworking what the Bible teaches..

The Holy Spirit is reliable and sufficient.

That said each can exercise freewill but I'm giving my 2 cents openly knowing that the deceiver could be at work in doctrines of men. After all we are not to add or take away... but writing a book with subtle deception is a device used often.

Be not removed from the simplicity that is found in Christ....it is a simple thing to read or hear the word and just believe it.....!
As long as we listen to what Christ tells us of His and our Father then we listen to all scripture.

That is what humble is all about. It isn't our learning, our ego, or anything of ourselves. We are created by the Lord and we belong to Him. A child does not bring in great learning from other sources, when a child is told where the truth is, where it comes from, he accepts it. We are to do the same.
