Some churches like their straight-shooters (people who obey the Lord's law). Other churches despise straight-shooters, because straight-shooters get in the way of their agendas. (For example, in some churches, if you take a stand against same-sex marriage, you will be despised.)

Does your church like straight-shooters, and if not, what is you plan to influence your church to repent? (After all, it is not our mission in life to twiddle our thumbs, is it?)

A straight shooter sees that if judged by the law they too are found guilty and thus looks to Jesus for grace in living.
Yes, we are to proclaim God's Word as it stands realizing all along that in many ways we too fall short and so run to Christ for help.

Ones church is ones mouth and their flesh body their temple. Were not going to do anything about these church buildings except watch Christ utterly destroy them from off the face of the earth.

Their purpose for the positive IS completed, mission accomplished! The Word has been transliterated into every Nation and into every language; and by the way accomplished by the Faithkeepers,(born 1948 & prior) not the children of this spoiled rotten generation.

We are here to defend that Faith, and NOT the same way that the Faithkeepers kept it!; except of course in Our Fathers Will

Time for twiddling thumbs? I think NOT! Study! Pray & Share in Sincerity at whatever the cost! (and NOT in Dollars LOL)

Scripture says to come out from them and have no part with them. Touch not the unclean thing. Churches that have gone apostate are gone forever into the darkness of unbelief.

We have no mandate to fix the church only to evangelize the lost. Two cannot walk together except they be agreed. Amos 3:3

You have changed the standard definition of a straight shooter, which in my mind is any honest, forthright person.

Sometimes church leaders lead their congregations astray. It is best to do what we can to prevent that from happening.

I don't think there are any perfect churches. If you see something seriously wrong with your church, it seems to me to be an honorable thing to speak out against it.

I think you need to obey all of the commandments before you can be called a straight-shooter.

First definition comes up on google search, eh? Try scrolling down perhaps you might find it also means "law abiding" people...

Many so called law abiding people read and do what it says but only as robots. By works, not by spirit. That is what is wrong with most Christians. They read, but, lack the spirit of the word.

Many don't really try to obey the law. They just make friends with big-shots and climb the social ladder.

No, the definition I used actually came from my Shorter Oxford English Dictionary. There was no second definition given.

If want to find perfection, don't look at a church or a mirror.

If you going to try to change a church. You are only going to stir up trouble and probably be asked to leave. Talk to the Pastor (it is his church) and if he is not willing to hear correction ( a fool mocks, but a wise man listens to correction and becomes wiser), the best thing to do, is to find another church, even if you grandma's, grandma' went there from the beginning of time. The pastor is the leader and you will be viewed as undermining his authority and a trouble maker. Now if there are a large number of the congregation in agreement, thats a different story. However, you will need the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you may cause the church to split, which happens a lot. I've been through a church splitting and it is not joyful nor pleasant, matter of fact, its heart breaking and an awful witness to those young in the Lord.

I do not know how to break up your post, so I will just abswer in order...

If you want to find perfection, go to God.
If God gives you the perfection you can look in the mirror and see Christ Jesus....
You do not change God's church He changes you before He joins you to the Body of Chrsit....
Stirring earthly churches was ALWAYS done by the Truth... Jesus did it, Paul did it, Peter did it...
Talk to the Pastor it is his church... That is the problem it is NOT GOD'S church.... So that is why God stris up the church with His Truth....
There is only ONE chusrch of God here on earth, and it is ALWAYS BEEN PERFECT< AND ONLY PERFECT PEOPLE IS IN THAT CHURCH...
The Holy Spirit is the ONLY Spirit in that church, the ONLY Spirit...in all the members... Eph 4 Church... ONE SPIRIT, ONE TRUTH, ONE FATHER IN ABOVE AND THROUGH THEM ALL... A Church without Spot, wrinkle or any sin.... WOW! God has a poweful GODLY church here on this present world...

No, it is not the pastor's church. It is the Lord's church.
