Going back to the discussion I wasted too much of my time on, this is why the Lord has given us a spirit of discernment and context. We can know the truth. The Spirit alerts us to the lies. This is when He speaks most to me.
His voice though is strengthened by the word.
Your passion for Christ is admirable. Peace with authority is a sign of maturity.
Passion though does not always govern wisely. Questioning is necessary at times. I think God wants to be challenged, because it always gives Him an opportunity.
I guess that means peace with questions is a sign of maturity and Godliness.

Should God's words also be avoided if people find them ' controversial' ? The world likes to use that word to silence truth ( found in God's words. ) . It's everywhere, on TV, among your friends, at your church .
People will cringe at Christ's own teaching, Christian's even. Why ? Because they feel some imaginary pressure to go along with the majority, this leads people not to study God's words. God is against it.
In my opinion political correctness conditions people to put the blinders on . So that truth is not seen.
What was one, of the many, warnings of Christ , about His return ?
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
( He did not say the will of friends, your church ( if they so happen to be teaching contrary to God's words ) , or the majority )
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Seems they're are pretty much without controversy, by Christian's ''standards'' today, they seem pretty politically correct.
What dose He have to say about them ?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Woe. No space afforded PC people. Specially when its costing people the truth, and deceiving people.

Not to make this a rapture debate thread but something doesn't quite make sense with what you said. If as you say we are not to go home but rather go to slaughter in the tribulation, well that just doesn't make sense to me. If God is the loving father i know him to be why would he just send his children to have their heads cut off? do you have children? would you do that? and has God ever sent his elect to slaughter in bible history? Did he not give them a way out? idk.... the mid or post trib thing just confuses me

Well I don't want to make this into a rapture thread either, but to quickly comment , The elect will make a stand ( so I don't see a rapture there ). But i have not read Antichrist coming to kill people. I have read symbolism used that sounds like he is hear to kill people. But the name of the game is deception, and the target is the soul , not the flesh. That is what all that killing is referring to . To an apostasy rather then a mass killing.
