Yes, without the Holy Spirit all scripture is liable to kill before saving for understanding is not imparted without the Holy Spirit.

I know this by experience, for I had attempted to read teh Word all of my life before the Holy Spirit entered into me. Since that moment it makes sense and I understand what is most important for salvation.

Because the Commandments of god are taken by Him personally from the stone and inscribed on my heart, I am able to discern the law bye the principles taught by Jesus Christ. Faith, mercy and justice.

Now this is importan, almost all of the laws given to Moses have been fulfilled by Christ's advent and fulfillment of His mission

Becaue of Christ I know that no law without mercy stands, andd I know that all laws that point to good, moral conduct do stand.. Yes they all fall under the laws of love written down by Moses long after the Stone Tablets were inscribed by our FAther, but if you truly study these Ten you will find the laws of love are there. Your heart, your new heart will witness to this.

Thanks and God bless you also.
So now we are back to almost all the laws were fulfilled?

Which is it?

I believe I have responded to your poits listed below and above, if now please inform me.........j

Brother JaumeJ,

You have it backwards, the 2 love laws contain the big 10.

The 10, are not the center of the law, the 10 hang on the 2.

They are a school teacher to bring us to Jesus, a prophecy fulfilled, completed, contract completed, it is finished, it is finished, it is finished, ended.

You don't have to hear the Law to be a Christian, you only need to hear the gospel preached, Jesus died for our sins.

The 2 laws are written in our hearts, the 10 "hang" on those 2.

Alone they are only 10 pieces in a puzzle of many.

God bless you and keep you always.

"The written code kills," you have got that right.

The Holy Spirit guiding doesn't need the 10 at all.

A person who becomes a Christian, and NEVER hears the Law, will be love without hearing it.

They will be doing the loving thing by the Spirit without ever having heard the Law.

They will be in the Spirit, without the Law.

If they love, they will not sin, they will be the 2 love laws, without ever hearing them.

Forget the 10, be the 2.
God brought me out of the land of Egypt?

Did not Jesus fulfill these laws?

Do you not know these things are sins? Why do you need to continue to be told these things are sins?

Brother JaumeJ,

Yes, there is love in the 10, but they are not complete, cannot be complete, without the 2. (The whole Law)

But, even the 2 are gone, gone with the law, the Whole Law.

The Spirit comes without the Law.

The gentile Christians had to be taught the Law. But they were complete Christians without the Law.

They didn't need it, it wasn't necessary for salvation.

We don't need it either.

We cannot allow ourselves to be under the Law.

That would be against the Spirit, Jesus died for us to be set free from the Law and under the Spirit.

Shall we make His death useless, and return to the Law?

Take the gospel Spirit, that doesn't need the Law for salvation, and return to Law, in hope of pleasing Jesus?

Previously the mention of the two great laws were brought up as containing all the law.......they do, however if one understands teh Ten Commandments it is understood also.

Study, pray and meditate on the Ten Commandments, and you will find it is quite complete......the rest of teh moral laws that remain re already undertood within the Ten.........

I respect your thinking, but I cannot adhere to anything other than to what the HOly Spirit has allowed my new heart to understand.

Many coming into the Bible Discussion make
reference to the prophecy in Ezekiel and in
Jeremiah, among others, of how we should
receive the law as writtenno longer on tablets
of stone, rather it is to be written upon the
fleshy tablets of our hearts.

What is conveniently overlooked almost
all of the time is this, there were only Ten,
Commandments, written by God in stone, no
more and no less.

Now why is this if there are only the Ten why
then the reference gen erallay to "the law?"

It is quite simple, the Ten Commandments,
when studied and understood , actually
do contain all of the law that is not to ever
pass until heaven and earth have passed away,
and perhaps not even then.

Conveniently overlooked is the truth that there
is no mention of any of the Commandments
being deleted, removed or abolished. There
remain ten on our hearts.

Again I stress to all who wish to kowdfinitivly
about the law under grace, with God, our Father,
having inscribed them on our hearts, it is our
hearts testifying to how the laws is yet, according
to the enlightenment of Jesus Christ and the Holy
Spirit.

Examine each of the Commandments and see if
any one of them is not God's wisdom and will
for us all to live in His light.

Thus we live in grace and we recognize the wisdom and
will of our Father Who has given us Jesus Christ.

Let us praise God in obedience and gratitude for His
Great and Wonderful Sacrifice just for each one of us, amen.
Amen well said

When a parson misses the parable as to the spiritual understanding as that not seen it disappears and men look to the literal meaning .walking by sight. God's word is law every tittle ("not even the minutest part of the law shall perish".)

Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

I would offer zeroing in on numbers used in parables to represent the whole or perfect can be misleading . Ten would be one of those numbers used in parables to represent perfect or complete like the word thousand, hundred or even eight ( eight day circumcision= complete)) or eighteen..(all , not some of the people that died when the tower in Siloam fell )
I would suggest ten is used in one way like the word thousand or hundred to give us a vast unknown number as a spiritual understanding. The law of the Lord is perfect as in complete, converting our soul giving us his unseen understanding.

I think we could say. The law of the LORD is ten, ten representing perfect or complete.

Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

In that sense His word is law, not coming after a philosophical opinion of the creation called a private interpretation , our own commentary or what we believe we hear. Like fingerprints one differs from the other.

I will have to disagree again, my brother.

The 10 do not contain the whole Law. There are many other laws in the old covenant, circumcision for example. The 10 are only a small part of the Law.

Study, pray and meditate on the Ten Commandments, and you will find it is quite complete......the rest of teh moral laws that remain re already undertood within the Ten.........
No, and that is the same problem the pharisees had, they obeyed the letter of the Law, but not the heart of the Law.

They could obey the 10, without the heart.

You will not steal, because of eternal fire (fear), or because of love (faith)?

But the words were not written on the stone, "You shall not steal because you love your neighbor", the love part was written in another part of scripture, not in the 10.

So you see how the 10, "hung" on the 2.
--
Now you say do away with the 2, and keep the 10.

What other Laws shall we keep to please God, from the old covenant?

Ceremonial laws? The 2 laws are generally considered to be part of that group.

So if we do away with the ceremonial laws, the 2 are gone with it.

You might say that removing the 2, and keeping the 10, is ripping the heart out of the old covenant.

I respect your thinking, but I cannot adhere to anything other than to what the HOly Spirit has allowed my new heart to understand.
Amen brother, I think that's how it is supposed to be.

We are just talking, discussing, I know I can learn some things from you, we are just talking.

Walk trough the valley

The commandment written on our heart is no longer something we try to live up to but Living and waking in the Holy Spirit: walking in the light we have we get more light. Did you notice that there is no command to receive the Holy Spirit, we are told that if we ask we will receive: when we know we need help.
Yet Jesus said, "All manner of sin shall be forgiven to man but rejecting the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven," The Holy Spirit leads us in the truth and teaches us to Love, so that we can forgive and be forgiven.
There is much mentioned about God giving us rest. He that has entered into rest has ceased from His labour as God did from His." Yet it's also written that we are labourers together with God. So far this could be taken either way, do we obey the Law or not? when I did not obey the Law it killed me, became dead to the Love of God, but was really dead all along, needing to be exposed. We have not attained to the Resurrection and when we do it will be a kingdom that can't be shaken, those who suffered with Him will rule with Him in the first Resurrection. The suffering is to put to death the deeds of the flesh and then "All that live godly shall suffer persecution." The 1000 year reign of Christ is the last day, the Sabbath rest. "To keep it is daily pick up your cross and follow Me" wether you honor a day above another or not you should be fully convinced Romans 14:5

The Holy Spirit comes to dwell within a saved person upon that moment of salvation and seals that person unto God forever and ever.

Ezekiel 36:25-27
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Have you been given a new heart? One that follows after the Spirit?

Or do you have a heart of stone? One that follows the commandments written on stone?

The heart of stone has no choice. I suppose it has to elevate the commandments written on stone because thats all it understands.

But if you've been given a new heart and you've been given a new spirit then you KNOW what you follow and it is NOT your understanding of what you think the commandments on stone say.

If you've been given a new heart and a new spirit you follow what CAUSES you to walk in Gods Statutes.

What would cause us to walk in Gods Statutes? Our will? Our understanding? Our strength? That would be pretty prideful to think that.

It almost doesn't seem nice to keep pointing out how blessed we are in Christ and how the thoughts and understanding of carnal men are what curses them.

So what do you say to those who insist on keeping their curse? There's a better Way...

Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

What do you know of the Urim and Thummim?

There is no greater Love. And so if it were not for my Savior i would not have been given a Light to the path that all of us are to Take to Adonai(Father)

How much has the tabernacle been discussed here?

speaking of wisdom in the evening of the Soul
Mountains and Hills
sons and daughters
A woman shall encompass a man.
…"Set up for yourself roadmarks, Place for yourself guideposts; Direct your mind to the highway, The way by which you went. Return, O virgin of Israel, Return to these your cities. "How long will you go here and there, O faithless daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing in the earth-- A woman will encompass a man." Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes, 'The LORD bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!'…

If] I take up the wings of dawn, [if] I dwell at the end of the west,
There too, Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will grasp me.

Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak, Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.
'Who is this that grows like the dawn, As beautiful as the full moon, As pure as the sun, As awesome as an army with banners?'

Sons and Daughters.
Every seed after its kind.
I once heard, "wild or natural, an olive is an olive."
I also once heard a daughter respond to her mothers question concerning angels, she said, "an Angel is a Guard"!

Giving a portion

Devarim(deuteronomy)
a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, you will lack nothing in it, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains you will hew copper.

Michah
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves copper; and you shall crush many nations, and you shall devote their plunder to the Lord, and their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

Our Comforter
1 A song for ascents. I shall raise my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?
2 My help is from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to falter; Your Guardian will not slumber.
4 Behold the Guardian of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your Guardian; the Lord is your shadow; [He is] by your right hand.
6 By day, the sun will not smite you, nor will the moon at night.
7 The Lord will guard you from all evil; He will guard your soul.
8 The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from now and to eternity.

3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.

"Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

There is one that holds the 7 stars in his Hand.
And for the Church {congregation of 10, takes on meaning. When a family lays on hands it is the blessing passed from generation to generation.
7777.

father's 7, teach their wives 7, father's teach their sons 7, mother's teach their daughter's 7.

5 men to the north and 5 men to the south.

And if they follow Torah, they should not covet.
So the 5 northern look north to their wives and children.
The 5 southern look south to their wives and children.

And so the house is not divided against itself.

God brought me out of the land of Egypt?
If we are in the world we are still in the land of Egypt. The Hebrew word for Egypt is Mitzraim and it literally means "that which limits you or bind you". You see we all have our own Egypt until we chose to repent (shuv) and turn back to God (the meaning of shuv).

Israel (we are the spiritual Israel) were in Egypt until they turned back to God and entered into covenant with Him. The picture is still the same and relevant to us today.
