Maybe this is a strange one, but I feel that death is also an act of love by God. I don’t want to offend anybody but let me try to explain myself…

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
According to the Word of God, man was created to live forever and would have without sin. After Adam and Eve sinned against God in the garden of Eden, God said that they would surely die. (Genesis 3:3) Sin caused a separation from God which ultimately prevented their bodies from living forever. For the next 10 generations mans life span was about 900 years. Everybody dies and we certainly don’t get that old anymore.

Could it also be because God loved us so much that did not want us to live an eternal live in this world ? Because John 12:31 says that Satan is the ruler of this world. We all know about the terrible things that are happening in this world. We can have joy in this lifetime, but every single man knows also how it feels to be in pain and to suffer. This is not what God wanted for us.

The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death (Isaiah 57:1-2).

This is my favorite verse: He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. (Revelation 21:4). This tells me that everything will be okay in the end and things will be restored as God intended it to be.

Love to get your opinion on this...

Dalisa, Paul said it is a GAIN... Paul said he wanted to PASS ON TO GOD for a long time but for the sake of OTHERS he was still kept here....

Look at it like this.... Even Jesus asked that the time would pass him so that they get it over with.... I know the feeling, all storms you face in the wild SEAS around Cape and Africa, gives you that desperation that it must through all at you and get it over with.... After the fear has passed, there comes this urgency to see it trhough. If the FEAR does not past, people give up.

So this is what I learned from Jesus and Paul.... They both were in many sitiuations where people want to cause them harm, and Jesus walkd away from many, and walked into the last one, to be crusified.... But he knew Father would glorify Him again with the Glory He had before the eath was made... So Jesus knew AFTER the cross He would return to the Father,,,,

Paul knew the same, and there is NO comparison to the suffering we get here and the glory which awaits us in heaven. You see Paul SAW heaven, Third heaven and paradise, and he had to remain here to complete his teachings to us... That was the problem, Paul knew the moment he died, he would enter that glory....

Paul said for him to remain in the flesh was more needful for the sake of the Philippians... Phil 1:24. Although Paul wanted to part (die) to be with Christ..... Phil 1:23.

But there is another HORRIBLE thing about death... Those that did not DIE IN CHRIST.... Death is the start of really BAD THNGS... Read about it in Luke 16:20 to 31.... One place where Paul and LAzarus is, is fine, but hte other is real BAD! They are kept for SECOND death.... HELL!

YEs, God gives life, God takes life. For what reasons God takes a life is often a mystery, however I know of a woman who had various addictions a brutal hard life with not very pleasant people around her. She was a committed Christian and pleaded to God for a child, she had tried conceiving with her husband for years but failed, eventually God gave her a child, but it died after a few months.

Cut long story short, someone ended up with a message from God, saying that she was so desperate and unhappy that He gave her a baby, that baby was His gift to her ,but the baby would soon suffer terrible things and would end up dead, so He took the baby home before bad things happened to it.

SAme happened to David and Bathsheba.... Natan came and told David that the baby would die.... Blessed are the baby that did not have to go through all our tribultaions.... Job was the same... Lord why did you not take my life the day I as born... Me too... May the Angels come and carry me off too!!!!

Death is not the end, it is the BEGINNING! Learn what Jesus meant.... Those that shall loose their lives for my Name shall find it... And if we do, we would not wonder how God works. God only work in mysterious ways for the ones that KNOWS NOT HIS WAYS.... Jesus said.... I am the WAY,.... If we know that WAY it is no more a mystery....And we should house it on a CLEAN CONSCIENCE!!!! WOWOWOWOWO!!!!

It's a sad story.... but she had her baby. And it was a gift to her. And she will get her gift back in heaven. This is my favorite verse: He will wipe every tear from their eyes. That will be the joy in her tears.

John 5

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life
This came to mind.

Something i had recently considered.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

What does that verse exactly mean ? That one won’t die ?
That the condemnation is removed through Faith in the Words of the Messiah Yahshua.

Those that believe not are condemned and will not have everlasting life.

So while one may draw their last breath in the body of flesh.. it does not mean the end for those that receive everlasting life.

It is an inner peace where death does not rule over a person.

Baptized by the Holy Spirit bearing witness to the person from within.

1 Corinthians 15

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ps 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
The death of the wicked is not so.

For the cause of Christ
