Hey Elin - I love that you're inquiring and not challenging.....or are you?...lol.....the term US can easily and I say easily mean.....that God was talking to, making reference to.......His entourage...He's not up there ALONE...He has the HOST OF ANGELS in His court....we also know that KINGS and QUEENS always refer to themselves in the PLURAL OF MAJESTY ...You'll hear them make reference to themselves as "Let US consider the matter"...referring to the ROYALTY as a total entity .....also, it has been said, is making reference to PROPHETIC ANTICIPATION of who He would become as a human...thus...IN THE IMAGE OF GOD...the IMAGE that he projected of HIMSELF in human form down the time line...any and or all of the above explains the use of US throughout the Bible....and in John 10:30 (my argument exactly) .....Jesus is stating that He in the form of a man (the temple or tabernacle housing the fullness of the Godhead) is declaring that the MAN you see is a MANIFESTATION of God in the flesh and to accomodate our human understanding uses the term Father to DISTINGUISH between Himself, the MAN and the Deity within the MAN ...He was both God and Man....as a man he hungered and slept...as God He walked on water and raised the dead.....and that's why people CANNOT and never will be able to rationalize much less explain the TRINITY....ONE IS ONE ...not THREE..."Hear O Israel the Lord our God is ONE" - try showing a child one finger and telling him that it means three .. absurd.....and yet .....the natural mind wrestles with what it desperately hungers for...THE REVELATION ...that can ONLY come if you WANT IT TO...ASK FOR IT...and that's why Jesus said to Peter...in (Math 16:17)"Flesh and blood (or your natural mind) hath not revealed it to thee" the question of who He was....but....."my Father"...it was revealed by God that Peter realized he was standing in front of Jehovah in the flesh.....there was not talk or thinking about the Trinity at the time of Christ - that's why you never hear the disciple arguing about it - they understood what Isaiah had prophesied .....the TRINITY only came 300 years after Christ by MEN (not Holy Men) in a council - Jesus looked into Peter's heart and knew that when he called Him THE SON OF GOD he really meant THAT ONE THAT WAS BEGOTTEN 30 YEARS AGO from a virgin, as prophesied.....EMMANUEL...GOD WITH US....like I said...this will be your Epiphany if you have the heart of Peter and WANT TO SEE IT or go back to your NATURAL RATIONAL THINKING on the matter - PRAY it's not the latter - and thank you for your inquiry even if it was CHALLENGING me - never take offence to it - love sharing my REVELATIONS with hungry hearts - Lord bless - Sincerely - Paul

YES TIN TIN - READ IT CAREFULLY - IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT - Now read Acts 4:12 and Colossians 3:17 - What is the NAME of GOD ...JESUS CHRIST.....andJesus said: "Before Abraham was I AM" referring to what He (Jehovah) said to Moses...He was the GREAT I AM .... try this.....if you send someone to a bank with a cheque with FATHER, SON, HOLY GHOST on it...the clerk will say...these are titles...but what is the NAME of this person with these TITLES?...unless I have the NAME you can't hope to cash the cheque.....that's why EVERY baptism in the Book of Acts was "IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST"...nowhere...IN THE TITLES ....ALWAYS IN THE NAME...Baptizing infants in the TITLES was instituted by MAN hundreds of years after Christ ...how old was Jesus when He was baptized? He was 30 years old...a man...infants can't repent...Jesus didn't have to but what did He say to John? Well the thing is I am not trying to prove anyone wrong, i am just stating what i believe- same as you. But like you said you posted this knowing full well its a sensitive subject. Some christians seek the truth, others seek to serve and then there are ppl like me who are just happy to love such a god. I think arguing with each other is pointless, if no one will listen to your statement dust off you feet and move on. We are all the body of christ, now think about this for moment what if one of our vital organs begins to fail? the body in responce begins do undergo painful things and doesnt work well if not treated quickly. the same goes for us as christians, when we waste time arguing because ppl don't agree with us we become this vital organ that is not working right, then just like a virus other parts of the body begin to have problems like a virus, this is us as the church arguing when what we should be doing is to follow gods way. Do you think jesus kept arguing with ppl when they were not willing to listen? You see we christians strive to become christlike but what we mess up on is waiting for him to change us to be more like him. The key to becomeing christlike and to develope a powerful bond with him is to ask in every situation wwjd. literally imagine in head what jesus would do in any situation and he will tell you by showing you. You may think it was just you thinking what he would do as you suddenly know exactly what he would do but this is one of the ways he speaks to us. I also need to work on this so i am going to pray and try hard to do this, who wants to join me?

My mind is natural ,spiritual enough, to accept what is written .Trinity is just another word . God does hold these offices .One of The only begotten Son. The Father, and the Holy Spirit. That is not a hard concept when taking in the whole of scriptures However they rendered the Bible. The manuscripts are too many to not have a true report. They all agree on all major points. And so, its easy to document ;That God holds these different offices; for lack of a better term.

I don't need a revelation . That is not necessary for me ,God has my number. And I have His. I have His letter He sent us. I can read with understanding .
I don't see what you are in disagreement about the scriptures I posted ? ? ? I do not know what your really hinting at based on your choice of words. Just speak plainly . What I posted from the Bible seems very plain and clear to me. I don't have any thoughts about it. It's just not an issue for me. I see there is one God. And He holds three different offices . He come to this earth in the form and exact image of God. He was the only begotten Son of God also. To give His life a ransom for who so-ever-will believe .
The Holy spirit is God's spirit also. This topic has never been an issue for me. I'm very comfortable with it.
I don't see what you are in disagreement about the scriptures I posted ? ? ? I do not know what your really hinting at based on your choice of words. Just speak plainly . What I posted from the Bible seems very plain and clear to me. I don't have any thoughts about it. It's just not an issue for me. I see there is one God. And He holds three different offices . He come to this earth in the form and exact image of God. He was the only begotten Son of God also. To give His life a ransom for who so-ever-will believe .
The Holy spirit is God's spirit also. This topic has never been an issue for me. I'm very comfortable with it.
