Did Jesus believe the end times was coming soon after his death?

I'm not going to bother looking into it. Religious tolerance, my foot! That website is nothing but intolerant towards the Christian faith.

The commentary is limited to single verses and not towards the context of what's being discussed. For instance, in Matthew 16:28 and Mark 9:1, I believe Jesus was referring to the glory of his ascension, and what followed after that. Not that those standing there would virtually live until his second coming, but that some of the disciples would be made privy to seeing Jesus coming in his kingdom when they were witnesses of his transfiguration, resurrection, and ascension. The following verses tell what it means. Peter, James, and John saw Jesus come into His kingdom.. jmo
