Spiritual law and worldly law are different. We can be completely forgiven of sin if we repent and go to Jesus for forgiveness. Worldly law has no forgiveness of their law, and their laws are different from spiritual law.

There are worldly consequences, however, of following Christ. Christ leads us to a loving, forgiving nature that the world appreciates.
Just like Jesus forgiving us our debts, we can also forgive others their debts.

If I'm in debt to someone a million dollars and can't pay them back because of my stupidity, and I'm brought to court to be judged and made accountable. A fair judge will try to get the bebt back for them. To Bring about justice the best way they can. And person I'm in debt to stands up and says don't worry i forgive the debt. Or someone else stands up and says I'll pay the debt, i become free of the debt and not guilty by law.
God is just. The law of God requires that the sinner dies.
Justice requires the debt to be paid. If we pay with our life we are forever lifeless. But thank God, Jesus stood up and paid it for us.
The only other way to save us was for God to change the law. But that would result in lawlessness and cause sin to be eternal.

The forgiveness is made possible because Jesus paid the debt. Perfect justice and perfect mercy.

EDENgate, you state that "Christians are no longer sinners." But, that's not what the Christian New Testament says. It says that, " Those who say they they are without sin deceive themselves and are liars." (John)

So, EDENgate, where do you come up with the idea that Christians are no longer sinners? TIA

We're not reborn into anything new if we're still sinners.
We're not in God's grace if while there we're still separated from him as natural minded sinners unable to understand the things of the spirit.

We were born sinners. We're not born again to be something more if we're still sinners. And we're not saved from sin if we're still sinners who are in bondage to sin.

Yes, Mary was the first evangelist :D And thank you :) I spent quite a bit of time on that one, returning
to it repeatedly over weeks even as I started new ones and worked on them. I started this one yesterday :)

It is not quite done yet...

Read Romans chapter 1 it will explain the only time this statement (Jesus Forgives Us All Our Sins; Past/Present/Future) is not true. Pay special attention to verse 28. Let God guide you.

If we willfully sin without remorse and continue down that path God will at some point give you up because you won't find him if your not seeking him. But the moment you begin to seek for him for forgiveness ALL SINS are forgiven. Amen

The reason we are all born sinners is because we are all born with the motivation of self interest. A person that is born again receives the Holy Spirit which fills his heart with divine love for God and man. When the motivation for every thought and action is love, we are obeying the Spirit of the Law and the two Commandments given by Christ which all the commandments are based on which is to love God first and everyone else as you love yourself. Born again is a state of being and as 1 Cor 13 explains , it doesn't matter what you do (works) if you don't do it with love in your heart.

If Jesus forgave us all our sins, why did Paul caution us?

Paul made it abundantly clear that sin has consequences: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). Paul then describes the end of those who indulge in sinful behavior: “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction” (Galatians 6:8).
Doesn't he only forgive the sins repented for and perhaps those done out of ignorance? Don't you still have to give an account for the sins not repented for?
