Of which I will use every possible means of communication to convince that there is order, God's perfect order, in this otherwise chaotic world.
A natural order of Gods creation, and a spiritual war for souls, are two different things, God didn't tell us to put on are calculator, He told us to put on "The Armor of God". He never said our battle is with numbers, He said it was a battle against powers of darkness, why would I look to numbers in this fight to help me and not Gods word? Show me anywhere where it said to count, besides counting of the beast ? So if it's not about the beast, we're not listening, This specific passage is about the beast, can anyone show me anywhere else about counting numbers ? Better yet, if Jesus said it, then I would really like to hear it.

Do Bible Numbers Have Meaning or Is It Just Useless Filler Information That We Should Ignore within the Bible?
The use of numbers in the Bible should not be confused with numerology in which occult mysticism is attached to figures
their combinations, and numerical totals. Numerology had Babylonian roots and these practices are not pleasing to God. Deu.18:10-12

Numbers can be either have literal or symbolic meaning in the Bible depending on the context.
The number six at times represents imperfection and deficiency
(Revelation 13:18) . . .This is where it calls for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man’s number, and its number is 666.
Seven is used frequently in the Scriptures to signify completeness, as in completing a job, or a cycle. When used in conjunction with God it can completeness symbolizes, perfection, purity.
Psalms 12:6 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.
Seventy-seven, a repetition of seven in a number, was equivalent to saying “indefinitely” or “without limit.” Jesus counsels Christians to forgive their brothers to that extent.
Ten is a number denoting fullness, entirety
The fullness of the test or period of test that God determines for his servants or allows them to undergo is expressed at Revelation 2:10: “Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. Look! The Devil will keep on throwing some of you into prison that you may be fully put to the test, and that you may have tribulation ten days.”
The ten plagues poured upon Egypt fully expressed God’s judgments upon Egypt.

He directed you to numbers ? How ? He didn't direct you, to help others, charity, love, peace, dying to self, praying to Him, Where does He say, you love me more by counting ? Where are you getting this ?

These are things other religions do, Jesus said nothing of it, it's up to the individual who they or what they want to follow though, and I think this thread explains very well, on both sides here... I'll stick with the Bible, and the gospels, and leave the number counting for "other religions".

If you limit his words to the ones men highlighted in red, then I see how you don't see what I see. How many names does God have? YHVH which translate symbolically is hand of Grace nailed in Grace. You won't see that if you limit you search. He has been from forever, the ancient of days.

I realize this is where I lose a lot of people though.

What does this tell us though? Where's the " meaning " I think no different about the number 12 then I did before reading this, this will not change lives, Jesus does, I'll stick with Him.
No you aren't sticking with Jesus by refusing to learn what Christ meant by the numbers He used. If you stuck with Christ you would allow Him to teach you. Denying scripture is not the way to follow scripture.

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Anyone can go get "illuminated" on numbers if they want... I'll stick with what the Holy Bible, done with the topic now.

No, I am not going to come to your house, sit with you to hold your hand through the study of numbers in the entire bible. If you truly loved the Lord, you would find a search feature of a bible and search for each number mentioned in scripture and study them. There are many websites that teach what God means by the numbers God uses, with enough scripture reference you can see if they teach truth or not.

If you want scripture reference to see if it is worthwhile to study God's word then you are in deep trouble. You don't know enough bible to have it do you any good.

Be wise to know the difference of "things" brother Jason, like how I am right now... Nothing about counting numbers.
If you have something about NUMBERS please pm it to me, I've said my peace, and what God would have me say here.
27 says adding things, not numbers.

Numbers that are explained by the context of the text come from the Holy Bible. See, most people just automatically associate the meaning of numbers with traditional numerology. Bible numbers that glorify God's word versus traditional numerology are two are opposite extremes of one another. The Bible itself gives you the meaning behind the numbers that are in the text. So if you believe the repeated meaning behind the numbers is paganistic in origin, then that is not good because the Word comes from God. I get it. People can be consumed by traditional numerology. They can even lie about the meaning of the numbers in the Bible. This is wrong. I don't communicate with God thru numbers. I don't use numbers when I try to interpret His Word. Numbers in the Bible are not useless background noise; They are put in our Bibles for a reason. God doesn't scribble non sense into His Word. Everything in His Word has purpose and meaning to give glory to Jesus Christ.

There is no point in trying to convince someone that doesn't want to know, that is just how will works. It will just cause undue stress overall.

Well that sounds like a nice christian women, And trust me I know plenty about the Bible, that it not only has done me plenty of good, but a few others as well, praise Jesus, all I'm here for is the few to be reassured in confidence, NUMBERS IS FALSE TEACHING,
I will pray for you.

You say Bible numbers are not useless info but that is exactly what you mean because they are just useless background noise with no rhyme or reason to you. You write off the repeated occurrence of numbers that ascribe a particular meaning. You see it merely as coincidence.

I don't see it that way, my brother.
No that is not what I am saying. I am saying the numbers are not useless info. Useless info is just that, useless. The numbers in the Bible do have some use, ie: counting ages of people, counting multitudes, counting tribes, counting days, counting goods, etc.

My point is numbers are not as significant as some popularly imagine them to be. For instance right here on this thread people saying "12 means this or that" or "7 represents this or that". Yet nowhere in the Bible says such a thing. A number itself is not significant outside of the fact it is a number.

Then you have to condemn those who Revelation 13:18, too. Where does the Bible say that is the exception to the rule? Do you honestly believe I am consumed by numbers instead of Jesus Christ? One can say the same thing about the love one has for their wife. Numbers are not for obtaining some secret code that is going to unlock the universe. No. No. Numbers and the meaning that is ascribed to them by the Bible itself is to show that God's Word is divine and give glory to God. For one can say that the hidden meaning in Messianic prophecies is wrong for the same reason.
