To all those who make insulting statements to other religions and other people of the religions that differ from yours, I just want to share with you that Loving One Another is NOT conditioned on the any such rule as that they must convert to your beliefs or agree with you. Loving One Another means to love the person as they are whether Christian or Not and even if they desire to keep their current faith. I do believe trying to convert other people is wrong because it does deprive them of their individuality. Everyone is their own person with their own personality and beliefs. A person who truly obeys the commandment to "Love Thy Neighbor" accepts the person as they are and respects the person's right to their own individuality and their own religion. You do not have to agree to their beliefs but please love them the way they are and respect also their right to believe the way they are. Condemning others is NOT the answer.

Stop all the tittle, tattle the catholic church is full of Abomination, it is dark.

But, the blind sheep wandering in their fields are lost, not invalid.

After thousands of years of twisting, bribing, murdering, and torture they managed to regain the authority....

Those of us who do read the Bible know exactly "who they are" !

All things will come to pass.

The truth always remains the truth, no matter how big the cover up...............

After reading this thread the only comment I can really come up with is. We can believe whatever we want. What really matters is what God says.

Asking man how THEY feel about Catholics is indirectly asking them to judge others and their doctrine. While some may not agree with their doctrine(and I don't) I am by no means in any position to condemn, or insult them.

So maybe, instead of screaming BLASPHEMY...if you are seriously concerned about a person's salvation why not plant the see and help lead them on the correct path? I am not specifically talking about Catholics here either before fingers are pointed.

There is more hostility in this thread than encouragement. Is this what God intended?

Do not confuse insulting statements with exposing lies. Yeshua teaches "Judge for yourselves what is right, hypocrites!" I try my best, as do all with clear consciences, to be honest, it is Yeshua's directive.........commandment!

When the Holy Spirit enters a person, he believes what has been given to him to believe in faith. The faithless believe what they want.

And have not I believed what has been given to me by God and my forefathers in faith?

This is general knowledge of all who come to Yeshua and receive the Holy Spirit, as described and taught in the Holy Scriptures, the Catholic Bible included. If you are insecure about this, I cannot help you.
Once more the reference is "When the Holy Spirit enters a person, he believes what has been given to him to believe in faith. The faithless believe what they want."

It was pretty much a rhetorical question. I find many teachings of the Catholic Church hard to accept (such as no birth control), but I accept them anyway because that is what God wants.

Going to correct a couple of things. First buying your way out of Purgatory with indulgences has never been Church teaching. Second, it's not works based salvation we simply recognize that works play a role in our salvation. Also I would like to see these decisions of the Council of Trent.

There is no such thing as a "Biblical" numbering of the Ten Commandments as the text itself does not tell us how they are to be divided to come up with ten. We simply number them differently than Protestants do, just like the Jews number them differently than you do.

The Catholic Church gave you the Bible, it gave you the theological foundation you use for your Faith to this very day, it defended Europe from the Muslims (via the Crusades) and brought Christianity to your ancestors. I'd say you owe it quite a bit.
The Catholic church didn't give no one anything...the bible was given by God and laid in the hands of God fearing people to preserve the Word of God. So when you say the Catholic church gave us the bible your really saying "without the Catholic church, no one could be saved"...no credit goes to no man for translating, preserving or distributing the bible. All credit is Gods and his alone. So no I will not say I owe the Catholics Credit. But I will praise God for keeping his Word and promises.

Also I believe if the Catholic could be considered Christian if they didn't stray away from the true word of God as Jehovah's witnesses have and many other so called "christians"
I have never met a Catholic that fears God the way true Christians do... most Catholics I talk to never heard of being born again, which is essential to making it to heaven. that's why I'm always converting them.

Funny how you talk about how violent the Catholic church is how about you look at your own countries history or europe's history its just as violent as any church. All I see you doing is criticizing on these forums have you ever though about bettering yourself instead of just criticizing others?

Have you read the Bible?

There is nothing natural happening, it is all calculated with one evil agenda united "against" the Most High ALmighty Yahvah God And Yahshua the Messiah.

You just drew a comparison with what is abominable to Heavenly Father.

You actually just summed up the catholic church without intending to.
please give the youtube videos a break.

True, but what do you think inspired many of those wars in the first place? It's always been the purpose of the RCC to expand its influence, both by the word and by the sword.

This is really sad. I am glad we don't teach hatred of our protestant brothers and sisters. We pray for unification. I understand ya'll believe us to be heretics, which we aren't, but why constantly bring up these discussions then call us names and non-christians? Do you have nothing better to do than promote this? Really it seems like some of you are obsessed with this and are not showing love. Isn't that what we are supposed to do? Love your neighor as yourself? Did you forget that one or just ignore it?

I don't see how you can dare throw stones at the Catholic Church. Haven't you read what it says about out churches in Revelation?

I have been studying the development of the church since the day God destroyed the temple in Jerusalem, most of the Jews were killed or dispersed, and James the brother of Christ and head of the Christian church was executed. God gave church leadership to the gentiles. I have followed the church councils held about every year, the ones for the first thousand years.

We have a lot to answer to. We don't have TIME to throw stones at any one church, we have cleaning up to do on a wider scale than that.

Perhaps instead of judging an institution we should pray for the individuals of which it is comprised.
Pray the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth: John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."
The truth is : John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by ME."
God bless us, your children and make us conduits of Your love.
