Do You Go?
Do You Choose Not to Go?
Are You Not Able to God?
Yes, almost always. The only times I don't go are when I'm very sick.
No.
I'm not sure what you mean by this last one.

Yes, I go to church, Sunday School and Worship service and some Wednesday nights. I enjoy being with people who love God so I take the bad with the good.

I also attempt to go to church with the attitude of giving of myself, not what am I getting, but I am still struggling with this.

Yes go very regular unless sick and can't go. Love to go to Sabbath School class as we are studying the book of Revelation right now and talking about the 144,000. We are in between Pastors right now as our former Pastor retired August 2 and the New one will arrive October 25th. But love to worship and fellowship on the Sabbath.

I struggle to "pay" my own bills. I don't want to pay someone else's.

I go on Sunday morning, Sunday night, Tuesday morning, and Wednesday night, if I can. They are my true family, the one that will last forever. If they met every day I would like that. If we all lived in the same building and ate dinners together I would LOVE that! I would rather be there with my brothers and sisters in Christ than any where else in the world. And it is a comforting thought to know that for all eternity I will be. Until then I know we need to spread out and deliver the gospel. But I am so glad when we get to come together.

Let me ask everyone. Are all the folks facing one direction. Toward one speaker. How do u minister one to another looking at the back of someone's head? That's not NT church.
Does that one man have a title in front of his name? That's not NT church.
Has one man or woman quit his job and is paid a salary for a 40 minute sermon? That's not NT church
Is it an open meeting with everyone's gifts in operation, decently and in order? 58 'one to another' verses. Didn't think so. That's not NT church.
Is the only offering taken up for the poor and widows and missions only? Didn't think so. That's not NT church.
Is Christ allowed to be the Head over His body or is everything pre-programmed? Thought so. That's not NT church.

Furthermore, I'm gonna pass out when finally someone gets this! It is impossible to 'go to church'...........we r the church! Let me help you out here. I cannot 'go to Devon'.......I am Devon!!
Furthermore! The word 'church' is a mis-translation. The word is ecclesia, sometimes spelled ekklesia, meaning the called out ones, the redeemed, not a dumb brick building. God does NOT dwell in buildings made by the hands of man.

Nor does He hold to the deeds of the Nicolaitans, nor does He hold to the devouring of widows houses, nor does He hold to religious titles, nor does He hold to salaried ministers other than itinerant preachers, nor does He hold to one man show religion with a muzzled audience. That's not NT ekklesia (church)!

So you ask 'do you go to church?' Not when God has not ordained what we gushingly call 'church'. Yes He loves His own to death and always will but what in the world do you suppose would happen differently if we as the 'body corporate' would actually try obeying God on how we should assemble, how we should conduct our gatherings. Allow Him to have His way! Would there not be a dramatic difference? Do you think?
Go ahead and play 'church'. My wife and I personally are holding out for the real deal! 40 years and holding. We cannot compromise. 2 of us are gathered together....'where 2 or 3 are gathered......'

I don't go. I have had too many bad experiences with people judging me and my children, or people and pastors who are just very un-Christlike. Or churches that just seem to want to do fun things rather than get serious. I have a couple of very good Christian channels at home as well as a couple of people who are very good Christian friends that I can fellowship with.

I have only attend the Jehovah's Witnesses church my whole life but now I have started attending a Baptist Church and I love it. Great sermons and people. Imho we need each other so church is important.
