It is so sad that you NEED to believe that, so that you can continue to feel superior, and don't have to see the one that taught you that, as a False Prophet. So what is the difference between the way MANY look up to Jack Chick (or other Charismatic Word of Faith false prophets) and the way the Catholics look up Mary? I see no difference.
The rest of us sinners will continue to confess sin, every time we discover it in ourselves, and we will LOVE ALL the brethren that teach and believe in the SAME JESUS and HOLY TRINITY that we believe in and teach.
How about posting a link to your Denomination's "Doctrinal Statement of Faith", so that we can CHECK YOUR CHURCH'S beliefs out, the opposite of the way you DON'T check out the Catholic doctrines.
I have attended several non-denominational Churches over the years sin I was born again the last week of 1977. So here is a Doctrinal Statement of Faith that I agree with, and even though it is extremely lengthy and very detailed; I still only find three sentences that I would word SLIGHTLY differently. YES, I really did reread this entire Statement of Faith very slowly, even though I have read it a couple times before. It is still the very best, and most detailed Statement of Faith that I have ever read. :

Pius X (1903-1914), asserted that Mary is "the dispenser of ALL gifts which Jesus has acquired for us by His death and His blood."

If Mary needed to be sinless so that the Son of God could be sinless, then every matriarch of Mary's lineage would have needed to have been sinless also to assure Mary's sinlessness.
It would be better if you dropped it as a belief, but it is not likely you will let it go easily.

I see the ones(A few here that just won't quit!) fighting catholics in more bondage than mwc68.
On a personal level and when mwc68 posts things about life and how he operates, he seems pretty free and care free.
A few here seem in bondage with their agenda to back the catholic in a corner and shove their agenda down someones throat.
The way things are said and handled, I can't believe that they think they can make a difference.
Its akin to going out and witnessing and putting someones arm behind their back and saying , "believe damn it!"
