Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (hebrews 10:25)

Anytime you step out of your house you are among the assembly.

Where two or three are gathered together in Christ's name unto Father, guess who is right there amongst us? Yes everywhere one goes Christ in the Spirit who lives in us goes with us to teach us how to walk in the Spirit of Father (God)

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

is this in any scripture?
many have quoted you many scriptures at this point which is good. i tell you this that i find true,i am a weak man i admit if i do not keep current fellowship with other Christians i find the more days go by without me fellowshiping with other Christians i will drift away in the flesh. that is if i(when i worked) was told that i was to work overtime and weekends i would go the first few days and i would remember to pray and keep the lord fresh in my mind, but a week or so later i would realize "oh!i forgot to pray this morning!!!",,,

you can imagine the shame i felt when i realized that i had become so involved in the job,and putting gas in the car ect.,you know just keeping up with the customs/rat race of life that it caused me to begin replacing christian thoughts with worldly thoughts. now i didn't like that feeling when i realized that,"yep even me i could drift away in spirit" now across my life i caught myself doing this more than once.

now it's an embarrassing thing to admit my own weaknesses(and i have others) because i think it's just as important to be honest about my own weaknesses and to explain how after falling on my face a few times i learned to correct them. so this is something that i learned the hard way but i think it's true. we are told to not gather together with those who joy in sin, riot in the night ect. but instead to stay together with those seeking Christ, trying to become closer to god.

so in that light think about this if we go to clubs, gather together to watch sports on the weekend work, work, work at first we will pray and think about god every day then every two days then once a week then a month or so down the road maybe only once a month will we think about god. well our minds will just become filled other things.

but again if you gather together with other Christians and if frequently speak to others about god we will soon find that we will pray every day again. and we will hear someone say something from the scriptures and then read the book they were speaking from and again look at the bible everyday. like whats already been said to you "where two or more of you are gathered i will be",,,

imperfect, you are here on c.c. we are also all here, the more we post back and forth to one another you probably just like me and the others find ourselves reading more and more in the bible. we all i think would admit pray more we think about the love god spoke of to us all more and more. the more we fellowship together whether in person at a church meeting house or on the internet it surly seems to bring us closer to god and keeps us mindful of each other and god every day.

i am old and i admit i have found across my life i have done both things. you are young and you most probably can relate to what i am saying. so yes go to a place where other Christians are,or converse with any of the members here on c.c. or any other christian environment you find on the www, you see i come here every day sometimes i post at times i may go weeks and just read others post and then research things i read.,,,well i like keeping Christ and all of you Christians fresh on my mind i think it's the real thoughts that should fill our minds and hearts,,and the other world that could so easily capture our attention well it will all wither away like the grass and what then?,,,well the thoughts of Christ and us the body of Christ this is all then that will exist. gather together with all of the others and Christ,,we are in the midst of loving you,,,
