Does a scar on the right hand caused by glass relate to the mark of the beast ?

You know how people have physical crosses, some hang on walls, some are small enough to carry in your pocket, or hang around your neck? Well, people who take things too literally will physically carry their cross. But what Christ meant was to follow His example no matter what kind of persecution comes your way. It might be an actual cross that you are nailed to, it might be imprisonment, it might be that one of your family members will no longer talk to you, but it is not a physical cross but a spiritual one.

In the same way, the mark of the beast is spiritual, not physical. On your hands means the things you do, and on your head means that you entertain evil thoughts that you plan to carry out. For example, let's say someone can't pay the bills so they consider prostitution- which their deeds carry out. They didn't allow their mind to be led by the Spirit- which would have reminded them of God's word that said, do not worry, just as God provides for the birds of the air, He will provide for His children. The price of bread may be outrageous (the price of living) but anyone who takes the mark of the beast for any reason will not go to heaven. there will be no excuse.

Now whether or not the government does make a physical mark to represent the spiritual mark, who knows? But God knows the thoughts and intentions of the heart (mind), and anyone who listens to the beast, who wants to make your thoughts like his thoughts, will not be one with God forever.

It doesn't matter what scar you have on your physical hand. Physical hands and physical brains are going to be destroyed along with this physical earth. Your soul is what you need to concern yourself with.

No a cut has nothing to do with the mark of the beast. Nor tatoo or branding. The mark was about property and currency and greed. The mark of the beast is called a fleurdelis. The symbol of the boy scouts n New Orleans. It had meaning biblically during the 17 the century. Each country use different money France and England had this symbol on money and government property. Here is wisdom; the fleurdelis was the national symbol for France n those times. It was also the cadency mark of the sixth son. Sixth to become king. Here is understanding; n 1376 king Charles the wise reduced the number of fleurdelis on the French flag n coat of arms to three n honor of the Holy Trinity. Each representing six this is the 666 Apostle John saw n his vision Rev 13:18. And how this was the number of a man because Charles being a Christian name means a man or fellow by definition. But he was not the beast. During the17 the century the beast used this mark as his own. For he was the government. Peace and blessings

In response to the thread title only, no. When the mark of the beast is given, it will be given to all who will receive it willingly, and they will be many, and this is sad. Pray we all are given to live up to our Savior's Example during these times.

It is very likely that the mark may not be something physical at all...

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The book of Revelation is one of symbols, allegories and metaphors. The mark is very likely something that shapes the way you do things and think about things. The right hand is a symbol for working and the forehead is a symbol for thinking.

This thread is either disturbing or hilarious. I can't decide which. As for fresh air, there's plenty in Australia. There are only a few places I've been here where I needed to hold my breath because of the pollution or something.

Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Hope this helps you calm the anxiety about it down.
You cant get that mark, even if you wanted to, because that final antihrist figure did not yet rise.

I understand your sentiment, but if this is hilarious to you, you obviously do not know or understand how anxiety and ocd work nor you understand the enormous distress it creates (I'm glad about that though, that you didnt experience it, or anyone dear to you). The OP needs comfort, reassurance, encouragement. And of course he needs to get help.

It's difficult to know, Soul. There are so many trolls and people with mental illnesses on CC. Sometimes it's very difficult to determine which is which. If this person has issues, yes, it's not hilarious. If they're just playing silly buggers, well... it's funny, even if they don't deserve it. Please don't think me heartless. Coming on CC is very eye-opening. Sometimes it's difficult to know how to respond to people here. My first thought upon opening this thread was "what is this I don't even". You're right in saying that I know next to nothing about OCD but I've had pretty bad anxiety back in my early 20s (it played out very different to this though).
