Good point - if The Bible was one book, written by one Person. But - it is not. The word "biblia" means "books", and The Bible is a collection of a lot of different types of books and scriptures.

Still - if someone doubts The Bible is God's word, then they would (of course) rather listen to words from (for example) recent scientists. These listeners should rather call themselves science-believers, and not Bible-believers.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and from Genesis to Revelation, He is the red line from the beginning to the end. Anyone who builds from the word of God without Christ as the foundation they build in vain.

Science Doesn't confirm the word of God. The Blood of Jesus and the word of our Testimony does. There is a hell Because Jesus said so. it is a place of eternal torment because Jesus said so. Use any Old Testament prophet and verse to suggest that hell is not an eternal place all you want.

Jesus said it is. When Jesus is speaking, HE is the final supreme Authority in all Scriptures. When in double, take Jesus' words over all. Because IF one reads an Old Testament prophet and sees something different from what Jesus said, the issue is with you and WITH what you saw out of Context.

Religion abounds with bigotry

Christians are bigots in that they insist the Bible is the truth.

Muslims are bigots in that they insist the Koran is the truth.

Hindus are bigots in that they insist Sanskrit is the truth.

Buddhists are bigots because they insist the Noble Eightfold Path is the
truth.

Well….. Hell (aka Hades) is not eternal but, the Lake of Fire (Gehenna) is.

Hell has to empty itself when all appear before the Great White Throne of Judgment…

Do you think that Adam and Eve are roasting right now? Are was there sin forgiven?
Adam and Eve had faith in the then coming messiah. They are saved.

Do you have proof? I learned in my church that these are two words for the same place - just like "Heaven" and "The eternal Jerusalem" are two synonyms.

How can they be the same thing when hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire
at the end of this age following the resurrection and judgment of all?

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14

Great of you to ask for proof! We are to always be careful of what we believe.(y)

@Magenta - is correct:

at the end of this age following the resurrection and judgment of all?

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14

Thanks for the reference. You are right. And I see also in the next verse:

Rev 24,15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

That means that the ones who did not believe on Jesus, forever will be belong to damnation.
