Interesting situation with dreams. Science has learned a lot.

And there's also this
Acts 2: 17. 'It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams

does this mean every son and daughter and every old men?

sometimes I think people hang on this verse as some kind of proof God spoke to them rather than judge properly with the word and sometimes just common sense

I don't know what you believe here...I'm just saying what I think about it

I don't know!

The part about God pouring out his Spirit on All Flesh would seem to mean everyone having dreams.

But that doesn't quite sound right. I think a lot of my dreams are just random bits of memory from the previous days.

But I feel that I have had dreams from God, and also been able to interpret other people's dreams that they thought might have been from God.

well as has been already said, we definitely all do dream...it is integral to our health actually

what I find interesting, is dreaming about something or someone you don't think about during your waking hours...had one of those just last night actually...makes me wonder why that would happen...maybe some unresolved whatever?

I don't disagree at all that dreams can be from God...only that some would put that above what is the written word

I hear what you're saying!

one thing I wonder, and I'm not sure,

Does the Bible say it is the highest form of Revelation from God?

I don't know, I can't think of a place.

not at all

the highest revelation we have is the written word

dreams are subjective and 10 people could see one dream 10 different ways...I've seen it on this forum...
