G4578 seismos = seismic-tremor, earthquake

circa 29 AD = Matt 8 = "Jesus calms waves", earthquake under Sea of Galilee shakes lake until Jesus speaks
circa 30 AD = Matt 27 & 28 = Crucifixion & Resurrection

the last earthquake, which was probably an aftershock of the temple-veil-rending second quake, topples tomb-stones, exposing tomb chambers, e.g. revealing Jesus' tomb to be empty. Then, many Jews in Jerusalem received Visions from heaven, seeing the souls of ancestors, anciently buried in the tombs, walking throughout the city.

Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

  1. Mat 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

  1. Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Isaiah 26:19

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Job 19:25

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Daniel 12:2

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

According to the documentary Mysteries of the Bible - Execution of Jesus, when people lose loved ones, they often undergo a grief process, with physical symptoms such as fatigue, loss of appetite & sleep, amidst which they often experience Visions, of the loved one, from which they feel better & more hopeful.

So, after the Crucifixion & Resurrection, the Apostles perceived Visions of the risen Jesus, and other Jews in Jerusalem perceived Visions of other Holy saints. So, some sort of mass grief process apparently occurred.

I would of never thought of that. What I had thought that it would have been Judgement Day since the earth was darkened and the earthquake, and dead has risen; so I assumed that Jesus has sacrificed Himself to delay God from passing His judgement on us like they had done in the old testament with the lamb to give the people a chance for redemption on the Day of Atonement. Nevertheless, scholars are never wrong, Right?

Wisdom warns, "never say never"

you can explain the "mass Resurrection" scene, in the Gospels, as a mass-Vision event. No physical bodily fleshly Resurrection need have occurred -- it was a "Spiritual" event, so being recorded by the "Spiritually aware" Apostles in the Gospels, but not by secular historians, e.g. Josephus, who would have discounted such reports (not having themselves had such Religious Visionary experiences), and/or were writing to others who would have.

Paul in his epistles describes the nature of the Resurrection body is as a glorified Spirit, so the Scriptures say Resurrection is a solely Spiritual phenomenon. "Spiritually aware" persons received Visions from heaven, whilst at least some others noticed nothing, could account for both the descriptions in the Gospels, and the lack of confirmation from secular historians.

I know that it is a spiritual event, remember Jesus was spirit when He told Thomas to put his figure in His wound in which show that when a person is under a covenant, both party that is under the covenant put an open wound in their hand and shake hand and say to one another, "that they will not forsake one another", and then they put some dirt on the wound so that the wound doesn't heal while they are under the covenant. God know how to sum up everything without sinning.

Found the website that I was looking for: BLOOD COVENANT - WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND?

    • While still standing in the blood face-to-face a knife is used to make an incision in either the palms or the wrists of each participant. This was done to allow the blood to flow freely. The Bible teaches us that life is in the blood. The two participants now either shake hands or put their bleeding wrists together so that the blood intermingles. This act symbolizes the two bloods, or two lives, have been joined into one blood or one life. In some cultures, the blood from both participants is drizzled into a cup of wine and stirred together and then the two participants drink from the common cup so that each one's blood enters into the other. This mingling of blood creating this new union of "oneness" is why this called a "blood covenant". It is the strong bond of relationship known to humanity. It is the way that God has chosen to interact with all humanity.
  • The "mark" of the covenant
    • While still in this position and blood is dripping from the wounds some dark substance such as charcoal would be rubbed into the wound on each arm so that when the wound was healed a dark scar would be clearly visible to everyone who saw it. By doing this everywhere these blood covenant partners went they would clearly be identified as being in covenant with someone else.
