Eternal life is NOT a never ending life: for all mankind will have never ending lives, whether they believe in Christ or not! Eternal life thus, is the life that the Godhead posses

Eternal life speaks of Spiritual Life, Not physical.

In John 6, Jesus said whoever ate the food he came to offer would live forever. never die, Never hunger or thirst, Has eternal life and will be risen on the last day.

Now we know, we still hunger and thirst, (we would die if we do not eat and drink) we still die (no one alive when Jesus spoke those words are still alive today) but that is beause Jesus was not talking about physical hunger or thirst, or physical life. He spoke of spiritual.

One who is born again (spiritually) will never die, Live forever, never hunger and thirst, and be risen on the last day. WHy? They have eternal life.

They will not suffer the second death.

Eternal life is among other things never endinglife. All mankind will have everlasting life or everlasting death. Death, whatever it is, is not life. So the eternal life that God gives is among other things life that is never ending.
