According to some most known mutations are deleterious or injurious, I often think that if evolution is so overwhelming and factual as evolutionists claim it is then there should be an abundance of evidence showing how beneficial to the species mutations really are, well that's if this underlying mechanism for evolution is truth.

Many do. Evolution teaches that man and ape share a common ancestor and that from this common ancestor man and monkey branched off. I voted no because I don't believe the evidence points to millions of years of unguided random chance evolution of the cosmic phenomena nor plant life, animal and creature and human beings. Everywhere I look in the natural world I observe Supreme Intelligent Purposeful Design, evolution nor science can give me a satisfactory answer as to why there is purposeful design in nature, evolution is not based on purposeful design mechanisms and yet it is observable. But it does depend on the definition of evolution, which can simply mean change, evolution is an invention an ideology a man made word the same as genocide is a man made word.

I agree cutting off a tree branch or leaf too stunt its growth would be a mutation according to most.

I'd just like to point out that the question the poll asks is flawed. No 'evolutionist' argues that humans evolved from monkeys. Evolutionary theory argues that humans are great apes and we as well as other currently existing great apes evolved from a common ancestor. Further back this common ancestor also shares a common ancestor with the ancestor of modern monkeys.

I agree though even evolutionist struggle to look at other adaptations that happen in nature that can be totally different then flying fish to tortoise to hyer to chimp to man.

Folks, those far off travelers will visit us again to see how things are progressing but they will not acknowledge themselves until we humans become civil. When we stop killing ourselves and eating the flesh they will show themselves. That is if we do not kill ourselves off first.

This is just my opinion
