Yes, I think it's more about the almighty dollar than any demonic conspiracy on their part.
Def. KJV can't be copyrighted......Any newer translation can....It's all about money.

I said it in the other thread, I'll say it here. The translators of the KJV weren't KJV onlyists.

not only that...king james' translators would have probably been the first in line to advise burning the king james only cultists at the stake...

Donkey, that's not what I meant. What I meant was that the books in question: the KJV Bible, NIV Bible and Satanic bible are all published by the same company because of the almighty dollar, not because of something more sinister and less obvious.

Def. KJV can't be copyrighted......Any newer translation can....It's all about money.

Jude says to contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.

Was KJV-onlyism part of that faith?

Did Jesus teach KJV-onlyism?
No.

Did the apostles teach KJV-onlyism?
No.

Did the prophets prophesy KJV-onlyism?
No.

Does the Bible teach KJV-onlyism?
No.

The New Testament even quotes from a Bible translation that is not KJV.

Weren't many people saved by the proclamation of the prophets without ever reading any of the written word. God is not limited to save people by the reading of the Holy Scriptures(though its study is my lifelong pursuit). I would also state that God is not British or limited to converse in Elizabethan English.

so , what happened to the Holy Spirit being our teacher ?

Luke 12:12
for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Acts 1:2
until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
1 Thessalonians 1:5
because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.
1 Peter 1:12
It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.
2 Peter 1:21
For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
