Maybe someone can define heresy and how it relates to salvation.

To be honest it confuses me, to the extent of salvation.
***heresy in regard to salvation would be denying Jesus is Divine*** denying that He died physically for our sins***trusting in another way of salvation besides Christ*** there are probably more...

Exactly. If you're not willing to get the small things right (like grammar and spelling) I don't trust you to get the big things right (like doctrine and heresy).

Eye no write?

There is definitely an element of truth here in what you are saying - to a certain degree.

Although Peter and John were fisherman that were not "edge-ube-cated" and being educated within itself is no indication of whether the Holy Spirit has shown people spiritual truths.

We don't get revelation just on the basis because we study - we get revelation because of the Holy Spirit revealing Christ to us.

Personally I love to study the scriptures but that within itself does not mean we have the Spirit's interpretation of things.

The problem comes when those that do study - then think they can be-little others because they don't "study" the way I did or you didn't go to the seminary "I did". Or my Greek teacher is better than yours. You don't have "my" education.

The insulting of others because they don't do things the way that they do or have "their education" is a direct indication of bad behavior and is trying to "lord it over others faith" by spiritual manipulation.

It is really just witchcraft which is a work of the flesh . The mixing of things together to get a desired result. We get the word for pharmacy and pharmaceuticals from the Greek word for witchcraft.

So, the reality is the more the education does not necessarily equate to revelation from the Holy Spirit on the things of God.

In saying that - I encourage all people to follow the way that the Lord has for you to go - and if it is studying in a particular way - go for it and you'll be a blessing to the body of Christ.

Thanks for this lengthy insult. It gives me the opportunity to reply with Scripture.

"So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. 2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation." 1 Peter 2:1-2

I think you need to put away this slander and malice, Grace777. Of course, the irony is that 1 Peter was written by an amaneusis. I hate to bring up Greek, but the fact is, 1 Peter is very advanced in grammar, syntax and word usage, and 2 Peter is very simple - more like, say, a fisherman wrote it.

I just love irony like this. You slander me, without saying my name, which has been your theme lately, and you use a book of the Bible which had to be written by someone who was more "educated" than Peter was. Which is not to say that 1 Peter is not inspired. Peter dictated what the Holy Spirit told him to say, and the scribe merely cleaned up.

But, I am glad, you brought this up. It enables me to put you on ignore again with a clear conscience. I don't have to put up with your constant slander and malice, that you bring up in EVERY thread you come on. (Oh sure, you are talking about others! Is this the new way to deal with me? Did your boss tell you, that since 1 Peter 2:1-2 wasn't working to try insulting me, but of course, never using my name. Ok, sometimes you use it with the same diatribe!)

So, where on earth are you getting that people with an education are following witchcraft? This is a new low for you! We won't even get into the fact that your total misuse of the Greek (as usual) for pharmacy and pharmaceuticals, another direct and totally unrelated insult to me, as most people here know my life depends on these wonderful medicines, and I am so grateful that God inspired people to care enough to develop these meds. My uncle worked for a pharmaceutical company in the US his whole life, and his company has helped millions of people.

Where on earth do you did pick up this garabage? Seriously, I could find you hundreds of Greek words used in medicine, which are used in physiology and medicine today. That doesn't make them witchcraft.

Sorry, Mr. malice and slander, although you are attacking me, you have only made me laugh! Hahaha!

Sometimes we stop and say "What in the world did they just say? Was that English? This is an example.
One of my favorite Audrey Hepburn films...

1 they deny salvation comes at Judgement day..

They deny we must not show are self approved befor Gods son..

They deny we must forgive for ourselfs and from the heart

They deny that we must repent from the heart..

They deny we must perform Good works to save a brother from sin..

They deny we must hope for salvation..

They deny that works are essential to salvation..

They deny we will be judged for our good works and bad works..

They deny quite alot and take a lot of evil from Good works..

They see alot of evil in good works..

They are taring brothers apart..

They are destroying peoples faith..

they are influencing many believers here...

This is my report of cc in my investigations.... sad but true...and they say they are my brother too ?
What a theological train-wreck, yoke of bondage and false gospel gobbledygook you've mustered in the above. There is absolutely no saving faith in the work of Christ in it whatsoever.

I'm a heretic according to your false gospel, so add me to your list. :)

He insults people indirectly by keyboard, but in his heart he knows he is insulting many individually and personally.

When you embrace heresy, stand for false gospels, and protect the wolves with contorted Scripture it must go with the territory.

Nothing good can come of this discussion. We have more than enough screaming "HERESY" at each other throughout these forums without creating a thread specifically for that purpose.
