What I mean is they have no sense of God or any sort of spirituality. The Pharisees believed in God. Even pagans have a sense of god(s). It's easier to change a viewpoint (from gods to God) than to instill a sense (some idea) of God from scratch.
In this case, I would stick with my first answer, which is to read the entire Bible in a timeline, chronological order so that you can show these people the utter and remarkable nature of God. That said, it will be incredibly difficult to understand what I mean until you do just as I had mentioned.

I appreciate the effort you put into this great reply; but merely sharing the gospel isn't the issue. It is the question of how to reach those who have absolutely zero sense of anything or Being greater than mankind... I've not found the answer in 40 years of study and was hoping someone here would have experience with the dilemma.
A prophet, someone that professes God and His ways into everyday life, is not without honour except in their own household, where their faith message is generally disbelieved and ignored.

Jesus said that He hasn't come to bring unity into a household, but to cause division. He also indicated that all those that do the will of His Father in Heaven are His true family.

The only thing we can do is always walk uprightly towards those on the outside, to the unsaved, by being consistently Christ-like in our attitudes and behaviour. As the apostle said, it is by our chaste behaviour that we might cause someone to consider Christ.

I've had/am having the same dilemma as you BAL, and it sounds like for about the same length of time.

As harsh as this may sound, my preference now is for social interaction with my brothers and sisters in the Lord, over that which I have with my flesh and blood family. I've let go of the anxiety I used to have about unsaved family and friends, realising that they are making their choices from their own free will. I also recognise since it's not God's will that anyone be lost, He will continue to reach out to them, I just need to be ready to give an account of the hope that is within me, if asked.

I get on well with my unsaved family and friends, but I refuse to participate in or agree with any POV that is ungodly.

Thank you. I guess I was hoping that someone would have an answer I haven't found; one that wouldn't be so painful to accept. I know you are right. It's in God's hands and in His time. As I said somewhere in this thread, I just find it especially difficult because I actually don't know any Christians in my area, no one to discuss this stuff with. This forum and being able to reach out is such a Blessing and an answer to prayer.

I think a real tragedy is that the church, at least those I've experienced, have missed the need to provide a family environment for those of us that don't have fellow Christians at home. But that's another topic, and one I've raised for many years, but that has fallen on deaf ears.

It's great having access online to fellow Christians, and can be a temporary solution for advice and fellowship, but it will never add up to the quality on tap, or what should be on tap, in a group of Christians that interact as family. Sounds like you may be devoid of that. May God, in His loving kindness, bring that into your life.

How does one show examples of God's love and Jesus's sacrifice to those who are without any sense of God's reality? I have many family members and people close to me who have zero concept of any sort of a 'higher power'.
They actually have a sense & concept:

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 1:19-20 (KJV)

Don't let them lead you away with their error. Grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
