Paul is saying you do not belong to yourself, and when you start thinking you do, then you have made another choice...only two choices to choose from. James says 1: 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.

actually the Bible does support the way I think, everywhere Jesus went he showed this kind of love to all the sinners, he wept with us for our loss, he had compassion on us lowly sinners. Read John again and you will see this.Now that I think of it our argument is useless because on one side Jesus taught to obey his commands and on the other he also taught us to love the way i speak of. The difference is that he said if we love him we will obey his commands which just proves my point, Because i said we obey his commands because we love him and this is just what jesus said. Are you content living in fear of gods wrath every time you sin?
