Faith=Perfection.
PRAYER.... Lord Jesus, I am being obedient toYou to compile this essay, what ist he use if I get NOT ONE person to walk with me the two miles YOU COMMAND THEM TO DO. Lord I NEED at least ONE BROTHER OR SISTER To walk this MILE I ASK OF THEM! Lord lay it on the heart of a loving brother or sister TO OBEY YOU.... Amos... Can two walktogether, except they be agreed? And to achive this You will have to change their, his or her, heart/s to believe that this mile will bring us IN TO YOU, LORD JESUS. I also need that faitht to perfection. So help me also to walk this mile with every one that joins us, thank you my LORD,AMEN!

So here is what I ask of every one that reads this.... If any of you doubt that I love you as myself, you know me not. I do not say this lightly, as this is what God COMMANDS from us... God says we should love each other as we love ourselves.... I have accomplished that with the love God gave me to love you with..., I even love the ones that dislikes and hates me, not only here on CC but in my daily life as well. When one of you were snotty in your remarks, I blessed you with love, when you turned insulting, I turned the other cheek and loved you still. When you thirst and hunger, I gave you water and bread. This I could do because GOD gave me the love, to love you with, NO MATTER what you thought of me or how you treated me. God’s love for you is ALSO IN ME!

I did not sin ONCE against any of you, not ONCE! If I did tell me how, and we can take it to God for forgiveness, and I KNOW I will NEVER do that again! I have been 100% honest on this site, ALL the time, for more than three years now. When I shared some things with you, that I know came from God some of you turned on the sarcasm and some turned on really bad stuff, but God led my fingers and my heart not to EVER fight back.

I know some words I said might not have agreed with you or your doctrine, but ALL lies and false doctrine has to come to the light. If you had faith OUTSIDE God’’s truth it will hurt for you to discover: YOU BELIVE A LIE! I had that EXACT same hurt when God showed me my doctrine was lies...However when God showed me the TRUTH, I loved the fact that HE IS MORE THAN GRACE!!!! That he TRULY does make perfect here on earth.

So if you read this, PLEASE DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THIS THREAD... If it is not understandable for you, ASK I will give Scripture to make it clear for you.... BUT DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING NEGATIVE HERE, PLEASE! If you disagree, just leave, do not say you disagree, just leave. That means you do not agree, and it also means you CANNOT walk this mile... But if you let Jesus change your heart you would want to walk as many miles as it takes..... That is why I prayed Jesus would CHANGE YOUR MIND... God does make perfect, right here on earth, and if you walk with,GOD CANNOT BE UNFAITHFUL.... HE SHALL DO SO.

The LORD JESUS told all of you believers this, and now I am calling in MY MILE.... But remember this is what Amos said... CAN WE WALK TOGETHER, IF WE NOT AGREE... So here is YOU RPART IN THE ONE MILE I ASK YOU TO WALK.... Remember.... I am asking MY MILE, I already walked the TWO MILES WITH EVERY ONE OF YOU.... this time it is YOUR TURN to walk a MILE WITH ME....AND YOU
HAVE TO AGREE... GOD MAKES PERFECT AND HE DOES... 1 Thes....FAITHFUL IS HE THAT CALLETH... SO LET US GO TO THE CALL!

The mile I ask is this.... You have been taught to belieive that God forgives you your sin I agree, and I also believe He will REMOVE what HE FORGAVE. So if you can believe that God forgive you your sin, I am asking you to also believe HE WILL REMOVE THAT SIN FROM YOU IF YOU ASK HIM.

Now here is the mile... If AGREE to believe God will FORGIVE us every sin we confess, we will also agree to believe that God will REMOVE every sin we confess if we ASK HIM TO REMOVE (TAKE AWAY) that sin.

I want to be IN CHRIST, I ask ALL of you to walk with me this mile UNTILL I AM IN CHRIST. God told me this morning HE DOES NOT WANT ME TO WALK THIS MILE ALONE.... Who will walk with me? Those that will OBEY JESUS please put up your hand. Then we START this MILE TO GOD!

We will HAVE to agree to walk this mile.... I BELIEVE GOD WILL FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS AND HEWILL REMOVE ALL SIN FROM ME THAT I CONFESS TO HIM AND ALL WHO WALK THIS MILEINTO CHRSIT JESUS WITH ME!!!!

This bold RED letters is the mile I ask of you to walk with me... Who of you can agree on this and are willing to walk this mile with me?

True God’s love,

Cobus!

This seems awful manipulative here, Cobus... "So if you read this, PLEASE DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THIS THREAD... Instead of praying God would change ppls minds.. why not ask that God thru His Holy Spirit make His truth known... Scripture says that the Holy Spirit is the teacher.. HE instructs us in all truth and knowledge.. therefore it would make more sense to me to pray that God makes His truths known to the people so that they can follow Him.. not someone's reiterated words on a page.. We're looking for His truth here...

We can't change people.. this change comes from the Holy Spirit.. we can't get behind a person and push them where we want them to go.. We have to seek the Holy Spirit for ourselves and we walk this walk with HIM.. not some rules or standards, which is what Jesus came on this earth for.. it's OBVIOUS we ourselves can't do this, it's why HE is the Saviour.. HE has to change this inside us.. you would come out better if you entreated the people here to be willing to walk with His Holy Spirit to guide us.. not to walk a walk just to comply with words? Look in the OT.. The Pharisees and the Saducees made up all sorts of man made rules to manipulate the people into following man.. Yet here the very Son of God came and these same people tried to manipulate Jesus into following their laws and lo and behold He was crucified by them...

This is a ridiculous OP, but very revealing (thank GOD).

1) Cobus, GOD does not REMOVE sin; he forgives sin. The fact that you believe he does remove sin exposes the delusion that you are laboring under to your detriment. He will remove sin at some point in the future, but until then, sin is with you and in you.

2) IMO you have sinned many times here on CC because a) you exalt yourself by claiming to know things that only GOD knows (for example, 'I did not sin ONCE against any of you, not ONCE!'), and b) you bear false witness of GOD about certain things (for example, item #1 above)

3) To ask brothers to walk alongside of you in an attempt to manipulate their minds to participate in your delusion that GOD will remove their sins, is, IMO, nothing more than rebellion and witchcraft. No where is this taught by any man of GOD in the bible.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What do it mean then to be cleansed from all unrighteousness?

It means to have a conscience cleansed from the guilt of sin. The guilt causes fear which separates us from GOD. The blood of the lamb allows GOD to justly forgive our sins and cleanses our conscience of being guilty of sin. Acts of sin are forgiven, but sin itself resides in our natures and cannot be removed until death.

I can't recall ever reading in scripture that our sins are "removed". ..but is this hair splitting on terms? Our sins are bloted out by the blood of Christ. Is this not tantamount to having them removed from us?

Just thinking out loud, so to speak.

Well I think the 'hair-splitting' is necessary because the word sin is subject to ambiguous usage. It is both a verb (I sin) and a noun (my sin); and as a noun it is used to refer to past acts of sin as well as the sinful corruption of our physical nature. This ambiguity causes some people to interpret certain scriptures to mean that our sin nature has been removed, or is removed upon confession and belief, as this OP suggests.

Herosefrom the dead... What is this and is this true or not....
My GEMSBOK friend here is Scripture that will ENRICH you in the knowledge of God...

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;

Herosefromthedead, please explain how I sin in believing why GOD SAID HIS SON WAS MANIFESTED. Was Jesus manifested to take awat our sins or not... And does He take it away 10%, 90% or 100%? Man, do we miss the point? WOW!

If we DO NOT KNOW JESUS TAKE AWAY OUR SINS, THEN HOW CAN HE TAKE IT AWAY? ....
Now I ask again DAN.... DOES JESUS TAKE AWAY YOUR SIN OR NOT, AND WHAT ABOUT YOU HRFTD.... herosefromthedead? What about you... Do you know Jesus can take your sins away?

I am not english but does not take away and remove mean the same thing? I think it does AS LONG AS HE TAKES IT AWAY FROM ME!!! How can I be perfect, if He does not take it away...????

Adri_D I ask people to walk with me a mile... God says they should not refuse...
Mat 5:41... And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. (TWAIN IS TWO)

This is the MILE I WANT TO WALK... I BELIEVE GOD WILL FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS AND HE WILL REMOVE ALL SIN FROM ME THAT I CONFESS TO HIM AND ALL WHO WALK THIS MILE INTO CHRSIT JESUS WITH ME!!!!

I cannot put it simpler than that...

You DO realise that Jesus was SENT BECAUSE WE COULDN'T BE PERFECT? (Hence Jesus the sacrifice versus the law).. basic study there..

No you asked to walk a mile with you.. I am walking with God's spirit.. Not man..

Cobus what you have said here is ridiculous.. This is what Jesus said in Matt 5 but it's the sermon on the mount, the beattitudes.. Here's the context.. Just to take one is ludicrious:

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

This is a mile in the flesh.. it does not mention spirit.. we are NOT to follow man, but we are to follow God and His spirit.. No I will not walk with a man, but I will walk with God. It's REALLY simple...

Also.. which scripture is that you mentioned above? You mentioned Gemsbok.. what Bible is this? What reference? It seems a lot of things are being left out here..

Ok It's apparently 1 John 3:5 Now this take away in this instance means to take unto Himself.. Jesus taking our sins unto himself. To forgive.

In another version it reads: 5 You know that He appeared in visible form and became Man to take away [upon Himself] sins, and in Him there is no sin [[d]essentially and forever].6 No one who abides in Him [who lives and remains [e]in communion with and in obedience to Him—deliberately, knowingly, and [f]habitually] commits (practices) sin. No one who [habitually] sins has either seen or known Him [recognized, perceived, or understood Him, or has had an experiential acquaintance with Him].

This is talking about HABITUAL sins.. This is not talking about being 100% perfect.. this is LIVING IN HIM WALKING IN HIM DOING HIS WILL... not just okay lets go back to follow the law folks.. NO that's why Jesus was SENT to begin with... NO ONE was able to KEEP the law...

Ari_D twist and fiddle it as you like.... I believe Jesus REMOVES when HE FORGIVES.... 1 JOhn 5:18 says the WICKET TOUCHETH HIM NOT... That is ANY one who is in Christ, and the whole Bible is FULL of people that DO NOT SIN! NOT EVER...

If God uses the word (Hagios) in Greek ,the English is SAINT... A SAINT IS A PERSON THAT ALREADY STOPPED SINNING,,,, ALL SIN. Habirual, accidental and practical... Actually the descriptive outlay of the word SAINT (hagios) says it all... It means to be spiritually pure (no sin) Morally blameless (no sin) Most holy one (no sin), yet thses sinless people STILL NEED TO BE PERFECTED.... Check it our in Eph 4... UNTO A PERFECT MAN the Bible says...

Ari_D, do you believe the whole Bible? Do you believe this? Matthew 5:48? 1 John 3:9, Eph 4:12 and 13, 1 John 5:18. 1 Peter 1:16.. do you believe this, and MANY more? I do, with my whole heart I do!

Plain and simple.. if you do not sin you are perfect, therefore you do not need a Saviour. Jesus was sent FOR That sacrifice. No twisting to it. Do you believe Jesus is God's Son sent to seek and save that which was lost? Lost means lost in sins.. if you are not sinning you are denying His Son.. and it's talking about habitual sin as well.. Do you not understand the Word? Perhaps YOU should ask God to send His Holy Spirit to help you and show you the errors you are trying to pass off as truth.

Matthew 5:48 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

This is word number 5046 in the greek lexicon and means complete.. mature... of full stature.. I am sorry that you are having problems rightly dividing the Word and it's meanings, but it does not mean what you are saying it does.. perfection does not mean sinless.
