Yep...those are their favorite verses too....

Let me give you some more then.

2 Timothy 4
1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

1 Timothy 6
2 Teach and urge these things. 3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, 4 he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. 8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

2 Corinthians 11
12 And what I am doing I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Matthew 7
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

Matthew 7
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

2 Peter 2
2 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

2 Peter 2
Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, 11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord. 12 But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, 13 suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you. 14 They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children! 15 Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing, 16 but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet's madness.

2 Peter 2
17 These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved. 18 For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. 20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”

End Time Deception of Satan
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Plenty more where that comes from if you need them.

Mr 4th..You have not proven a thing I have though

You're so called proper exegesis is simply parroting teachers like the false Mr MacArthur
Not a great put down. MacArthur makes very good points, and I am not a cessasionist.
ForthAngel is making some very important points, which your side is simply not answering, just ignoring.

The theological foundations to Kenyon and Hagin are important as they justify all the spiritual stuff going on.
And no one really knows quite what it means, gold dust, gold teeth, angels feathers, smoke other than mainly delusion.
I have seen enough fake pastors showing gems from angles to make one sick.

Now for an open civil caring loving community, your side just saying people are blaspheming the Holy Spirit and not answering the questions is being totally dishonest.

I have watched Hagin and Copeland and their holy laughter, and fainting in chairs etc. It has led to so much miss-direction the whole movement is in danger of killing itself off, with a large part of the christian church along with it.

But that does not seem to bother anyone here? That is what I find disappointing, because we are not enemies of the gospel, but rather preachers of it, but it is coming across you regard us as the enemy? Or have I got this wrong?

By the way, if you feel you have to report this post, please do, I feel no ill will against you, and hope you do not regard anything I have said here is either a lie or slander.

Galatians 5[SUP]

22 [/SUP]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [SUP]23 [/SUP]gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
It must be really hard to control one's self after receiving a HG enema. I wonder if she's teaching this is how GOD purges us?

They are favorite verses for those that don't agree with what some else believes on certain subjects...so these verses make it "look" like they are doing those things.....it's standard "heretic" hunting stuff...and to be expected...

...but you are 100% right ..in that they are God's word when used in context with other scripture and looked at through the "lens" of the gospel of grace of Christ and in His finished work.

These should be favorite verses or observed verses by all believers, because they are part of God's Truth !!!

Being horribly unqualified to discourse over the lofty heights of modern spirituality, experienced by God's chosen few, within those most hollowed denominational walls, I did feel a need to pause and offer a post of thanks. No matter what people understand of some things, or lack thereof, we can be thankful to live in 2016 and have YouTube.

Not speaking for anybody else, but I'm not very good with languages, decidedly bad with those of no earthly origins, in the whole of human history. I must not be very spiritual, never get any holy liver shivers. Neither have I been blessed to ever empty a hospital of believers, or cause a funeral director to have to offer a refund. Never could slay or get slewn "in the Spirit." Never got to do any divine convulsing on the floor. Just my luck, if I had epilepsy, I'd probably never get seizures, and this is nothing to uncontrollably laugh over.

At least with YouTube, we can get the interpretations of spiritual giants like Kenneth Copeland, a man who knows it's not even worth praying over, if it will fit under the seat in front of you or in an overhead bin.

Wow, that was wrong what Kenneth Copeland did...............

Speaking and praying in tongues openly without a translator, that is strictly said not to do in the Word of God !!!

There are lots of posts in other threads that talk about the whole congregation praying in the spirit when prompted by the leader.

The one about keeping silent was so that people weren't just blurting out speaking in tongues and causing a chaos. You need to rightly divide the truth in that chapter..anyway..start a thread on it if you want...people can bring their thoughts and scriptures.....

I use to listen to Kenneth Copeland a lot in my early studies when I was still weak in the faith and I even received their monthly magazine.

One day something drew me to stop listening to them and unsubscribe, and then a few years later I turned the channel and came across one of their programming shows on TBN. It was Gloria Copeland doing most of the talking and all she could do is say money this, money that, you don't truthfully believe if you don't give.

Quickly I turned the channel !!!

Excellent reference link and good message from a "right smart young chap!". I hope people on these forums listen to the Good News. Jesus said He came to give us life, and that more abundantly. If someone is teaching fear and doubt know that is not from God.

The Gospel is the GOOD NEWS, not the bad news. For God so LOVED THE WORLD., Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. GOOD NEWS
:D Romans 8:1-2 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death."

Even though I don't think too much of what KC has turned into, I would dread being in the shoes of this video producer on Judgment Day. And my estimation of the man who posted this has dropped considerably.

It states it is wrong in any circumstance without an interpreter !!!

Nowhere does the bible allow speaking in tongue's openly without and interpreter, and it had nothing to do with causing chaos why an interpreter is needed in all cases.

It was not to cause a stumbling block to others who do not speak in the tongue, because if you for example have a new person come to your church and they see every body there start speaking in tongues with nobody interpreting. Then those people might thank this is crazy and not want to return.

I've been here about four years now. I've been involved in several threads where they have openly defended the people in the video and many others like them. Again. Why are you opposed to this thread?

hmm lets see.

A weeklong rant against certain people. then you just happen to open another thread to attack even more against the same things.

You did not just open this thread to have a discussion. I am not that stupid.

I have to say I agree it was a bunch of garbage.

I like pope Francis. He appears to be a nice guy. Not so sure about Kenneth. Mind you should the Pope be kissing Kenneths ring or Kenneth kissing the Popes.

You realise a lot of people will call this beginning of the anti-Christ church. The trouble is with Trump as president, who is pushed by Kenneth, links with the Pope, it is not far off going for a new theocracy. I wonder Grace7x77 how you think that might pan out. Ready to bow the knee to some wizzo miracle worker, the man of perdition?
