Jesus once spoke out against the Pharisees for making Gods law of no effect. The Pharisees were guilty of this through the compilation of many, many laws that were against Gods law. These were the laws that Paul said were against us. He refered to these as the laws of the books. These books of laws are known as the Talmud. The Pharisees continued to add to these books of the laws long after Jesus went to be with the Father.
