This is a 14-minute video on the reality of a corrupt Catholic church and the backwardness of Catholics who defend a church whose leaders have admitted to so much corruption. I grew up in a Catholic family, and I remember how zealously my Catholic relatives defended the Catholic church even when its corruption surfaced. I hope that all the Catholics on this site who watch this video will be able to think and consider defending people who've been abused and deceived by the Catholic church rather than defending a corrupt Catholic church and its priests:

I actually meant to start this thread on the Christian News forum but had the wrong page open. I think wherever it's posted, this is an important issue. If you're Catholic, maybe you should check out the video and re-examine your loyalty to the Catholic church rather than complaining about 'anti-Catholics'. Most Christians are too busy being anti-Christians (denominationalism) to care about Catholics, as you shared above. But Catholics should care about their church and all the corruption in its leadership.

From 12:03 in the video, the man says about Catholics, "They cannot claim they are being persecuted because they are in fact the ones persecuting the children by defending their church leaders the right to do so... People are literally and scientifically showing signs of brain-washing in this church... How else do you explain people staying in a church that has openly admitted to killing over 150 million Christians... staying in a church that has openly admitted to molesting their own children for decades... staying in a church that their very own Bibles literally define as pagan?"

This video is for Catholics to think beyond "They are just persecuting Catholics."

Maynard, I think I've seen you in at least one post promoting Catholic beliefs. Why don't you take a look at what the video has to say about the Catholic church and see if you can find any truth in it?

The opulence of the RCC is sickening, and it in no manner reflects the lives of Jesus Christ and His followers. When the RCC recognizes the Authorithy of the Word, perhaps it will convert to the Way, however this is not to be.

Please do not teach others to understand lies, it is not spiritually healthy. There are believers still trapped by the traditions of man in the RCC, but I am confindent our Lord will extract them, now or come His Day.

Worship God, read His Word, and believe His Word. Stop praying to the woman appointed to be Christ's mother and to pope appointed saints, and pray to God through the One Mediator and High Priest, Jesus Christ.

Brainwashed is another way of saying bound or in bondage. When evidence against the Catholic church doesn't warrant a trial by Catholics, then bondage or brainwashing is usually the explanation. As you said, some Catholics will be extracted from Catholicism who are 'appointed' for salvation, and others won't be.

My experience has been it's pointless to argue with Catholics, as they are worlds apart from the Bible believing on what, to us, is a most important matter of truth: sola scriptura. They even mock the sufficiency of the Bible gospel of our very Lord Jesus and His apostles, who were there!

You will never see eye-to-eye with those who believe the faith is scripture plus anything else that creates a tradition of man the Pope and other Catholics can whip up and claim is truth, and Catholics adhere to these new "truths," regardless being refuted in the Holy Bible. This is an insurmountable barrier between what we believe. If you like being a gerbil on a tread wheel, trying to reason with men who say their authority is higher than yours, because the Pope has a secret decoder ring and the Catechism is inspired, well, good luck. And there's no such thing as luck.

You don't stop do you. You claim our Pope was eating children after molesting them. You're vile. Instead of the hate you have for the world and using the horror of what happened to those children for your disgusting purposes, why don't you just accept that we don't believe you? We don't place our faith in your lies or any of Satan's other lies. We trust in our Lord, King, Bridegroom, and God, Jesus Christ.

This is nothing more than sheer propaganda from Satan. The fact that you wish to rally to this man who honestly believes that George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, and Pope Francis secretly traffic in children and eat them after sacrificing them. HE ACTUALLY BELIEVES THIS! Grow the heck up and realize that you are throwing your lot in with one of Satan's minions, and this thread is here for no reason than for you guys and others to begin an argument to do nothing than tear us further asunder. It's sick and revolting.

I'm a former RC gone Charismatic. Now in the best days of my life(since 1993).

Still, I don't bash RC's. Sometimes I will banter with them, though.

My main hope is that a person, regardless of denomination, has a growing and intimate relationship with the Lord...and that s/he is working out that faith(Eph 2:10).

On a side note, Allin, can you supply Scripture showing the Lion and Lamb together? I don't see a wolf or goat, either.

I don't know of any Scripture where the lion and the lamb hang out together. I do know Jesus is both Lion and Lamb, and that's part of what my picture represents.

Please, please learn not to be moved by emotions but to employ your thinking and look at things objectively rather than subjectively. People often look at things subjectively and therefore make bad decisions. (We see this in many marriages unfortunately.) If someone starts a thread or says something and others attack him, we are used to thinking that the person who is under attack must be wrong or else he wouldn't have provoked such an attack. Read my OP and the my responses to the personal attacks leveled against me. Christians cannot afford to be unwise or live subjectively anymore; Christians can't afford to be so 'nice' as to run from trouble and let wolves take over everything. Jesus said clearly that the speech of the lips come from the heart's overflow and that "you will know them by their fruits." If one person is speaking and another is attacking, what does each person's fruit say of the person.

If one person comes under attack by a malicious mob, is it right to think the person had any fault in the matter. Be objective please. The world does not need anymore 'subjective Christians'. There is no bashing of Catholics in this thread. On the other hand, I have been viciously attacked (and reported to the moderators who took no action at all) by some Catholics on this site for sharing news about more corruption surfacing in the Catholic church in several other threads. One of these Catholics is still arguing for the Catholic church on RoboOp's thread about 'Catholic Heresy' and cannot help making direct personal attacks on me. In the past, most people didn't believe that Catholic priests would hurt children; now, everyone knows. In reporting what I have about the Catholic church, it appears to be the same type of dynamic: most people don't know or believe it at first till it surfaces all across the globe.

Let me share one more thing for those Christians who aren't ready to run as soon as trouble surfaces over the horizon and who have eyes to see (usually 'watchmen'): I see no coincidence at all in the fact that beginning in 1998 when I had my born again experience with God, the only type or subgroup of people who ever had any hostile feelings toward me were Catholics. My aunt and some of my co-workers-- only the Catholic ones-- couldn't help feeling hostilely about me. I knew lots of Christians and non and other religions at the time; but only Catholics (even without knowing I was Christian) would react violently around me. It didn't take me long to ascertain what it was, because they were all Catholics (just a handful but still only Catholics). I believe that those who have eyes to see can see exactly why this phenomenon took place, and those who are fearful will keep their mouths shut and their thoughts to themselves and save their lives. What I posted I posted just as I meant to post it. Ridicule, disdain, hostility doesn't change the facts.

You read it incorrectly. Allin believes this stuff, and you are supporting him in this anti-Catholic bs. Realize that he has made these insidious accusations against George Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, and Pope Francis. To just throw in with him because he is anti-Catholic? He believes that God sent him to remove pastors from their positions (he's claimed that too). So no offense man, but you have to realize when you are standing on the wrong side. I hope it is through ignorance and not actual agreement.

If this was not directed at us, then I'm sorry and I included you wrongly. However, based upon your first paragraph this felt aimed at Maynard, raf, and all the other Catholics on this site. Don't be surprised when we get jumpy around people (speaking of Allin, not you) who spread disgusting lies about people, especially when those lies are centered on this anti-Catholic belief.

Yes, Catholics do not believe what their own Bibles say when it goes against the Catholic beliefs. You said something that I talked somewhat about in my last post here. You said, "My experience has been it's pointless to argue with Catholics." The Bible says that Christians are to be discerning. To 'discern' means 'to judge, choose, distinguish between things, make a distinction, etc.' I want to point this out and hopefully show why Jesus made the Christian's ability to discern so important.

"It's pointless to argue with Catholics." Argument implies that two sides are tangled in a struggle of some kind. However, the Christian's struggle is not against human beings or Catholics but against evil ruling angels of various levels of authority who work through human beings. If one person is shouting and one person is responding in a normal tone, it is not an argument. Argument, again, implies two people struggling or wrestling together. I presented something I found about the Catholic church and even presented it with goodwill; but Catholics began to attack me even very personally to the extent that at least one of them has met enough qualifications in his tirades and personal attacks against me to be banned from this site. That is not two people wrestling; it is one person attacking another.

I grew up Catholic and had a Catholic aunt who swore that she would basically 'steal me away from God' and bring me back into the Catholic church. Catholic beliefs often take precedence over sensibility and common sense (to the extent that they do not live according to much that is in their own Bibles). But Christians are to be discerning, not ruled by fear and uncertainty and inaction. In 1Kin. 3:16-38, we see an instance when God's discernment worked through a human being for the benefit of all: two prostitutes bore baby boys three days apart. During the night, one boy died, and his mom switched her dead son with the other prostitute's living son. The real mother brought the case before Solomon. Instead of employing human wisdom (which would award the living child to the wrong mother since she seemed so convincing), Solomon waited for God's wisdom and then proceeded: he said that they should cut the baby in half, one half for each mother. The impostor mom agreed, but the real child's mom said that Solomon should give the child to the impostor mom and not kill it. Solomon said, "Give the first woman (the compassionate one) the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother."

Why did I relate the above story? Because knowing how to 'judge the smallest matters' is foundational for a Christian to learn discernment. If Solomon was able in the OT to operate under a word of wisdom (or the inspiration of the Holy Spirit), Christians today are much more often to operate in God's wisdom. We must learn to discern things, even things that seem to be 'small' so that when we see 'an argument, a fight, a form of unity, etc.', we don't make decisions based on what we think or our experiences but wait on God's wisdom (discernment) to see what is really going on. (Isa. 11:3-4). By the simple practice of substituting God's wisdom for his, Solomon left a deep and positive impression on all Israel: "And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice" (1Kin. 3:28). Christians must learn to discern 'the smallest matters' (such as 'who is right or wrong' in a fight or argument or dispute) because the greater levels or measures of discernment that God wants to give begin there. If a Christian cannot discern or perceive who is right or wrong in a dispute, they have not yet begun preschool in spiritual discernment which God counts extremely valuable and indispensable. Now read through this thread again and see if you can find 'an argument' or a one-sided attack; then decide what is good or bad, right or wrong.

And your line of thinking ends where ? Shall we reject the writing of the Apostles because of Judas ?
try removing the plank from your own eye.
