Most of he info is good, but Sanders Macro has concluded that HIV can also be transferred through mucus, saliva, and feces if internal (open wound) contact is made.
Most Europeans have a resistance to HIV, due to a historical/genetic past with Black Plague immunity.
African Americans and most other races do not have the same natural resistances.

The issue with US.gov statistics is that the data is based exclusively on US collection. We have been protesting their procedure for the past 7 years. The HIV epidemic in Africa and South East Asia are not exclusively caused by shared needles and STD, but also by tainted water supply, mosquitos, and hygiene.
That needs immediate citation from credible sources!

I know nothing about your son and the post was meant to be informative not directive or legislative to you. I empathize and not criticize. This is what I have learned over the past 40 years and have no other desire but to be helpful concerning the cause, how it progresses and what's behind these inordinate affections. Most parents don't know what to do in these situations and there is usually much hostility and confusion surrounding it. I hope you understand.
Exactly - You don't know us so please do not use my son in your opening statement as if he were the example to bounce from.

Say what you wish, but please do not direct it towards me as if I need to be informed concerning the Spirit of this age.

Making it personally directed to me/us as if it were about us was the error.

I hope you can understand.

I dont count Pauls instruction as crap, and Paul wasnt giving instruction for those in the world but in the church

1 Cr 5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

1 Cr 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

1 Cr 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator...etc
The church at Corinth was an immature, struggling church, having difficulty putting aside the sin of the city, which came to it from all over the world. The instruction is to the church at Corinth only, and by extension to all new, weak, struggling Christians. We are not to remove ourselves from the world and its sins, or we wouldn't be able to witness to them!

Or do you not know Jesus Himself associated with sinners and tax collectors?

Luke 5, NASB
27 After that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me."
28 And he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.
29 And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.
30 The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "Why * do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"
31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.
32 "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

It is s spirit of Pharisaical self-righteousness that won't reach out to sinners, and wants to condemn them to hell rather than preach to them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Right now, all I have is printed URI documents. I'll find a link for you though.
Not at all "most" Europeans. Estimates range from 10-20% of Europeans bearing mostly one copy of the CCR5 allele, and it could have emerged from the much greater smallpox plague. There are genetic hurdles getting the right two parent together to produce immunity in a child. If there was potential for it to spread, it would have by now been much more prevalent.

What I'm reading of recent studies is the HIV is mutating too quickly, moving out from under new treatments. If the HIV continues to mutate at current rate, it could easily present as a world-wide plague killing far more than historically. A problem for humanity is there's surely no inspiration from God while treatments are promoting expansion of the behavioral causes.

It makes no sense to me that people with AIDS and those possibly exposed to HIV continue to worsen their potential for increased blood count of HIV while a huge effort to reduce them medically is being negated by their sexual preferences, increasing the mutations of whatever level of HIV they do have. It's like shooting yourself in the foot every day while others are trying to find ways to heal bullet wounds to the foot.

If you are lecturing that verse good luck with that, I didnt write it.

Talk to Paul about it. You are not adressing a thing I said but copying me on what he wrote.

And dont PM me about this thread too and lecture me on what Paul wrote.

Quote"Or do you not know Jesus Himself associated with sinners and tax collectors?" Yes He did, but he didn't agree with their sin,or sugar coat it. He said "go! and sin no more".

I dont see how you separate the gospel and hell. The disciples preached "repent, the kingdom is at hand" Why are Christians today so fearful of telling people sin is death? I just dont understand it.
A great preacher once said "
There are two kinds of people in the world—only two kinds. Not black or white, rich or poor, but those either dead in sin or dead to sin.”

Mark has something to say to you Mark 12:31 - And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Pervophobes is a better nomer.

Christians are to love sinners, not their sin,
and are not to tolerate open sin in the church fellowship.

Which is why you have to tell those rushing toward hell the truth about their immoral "lifestyles" and give them the good news (e.g. gospel of Jesus Christ) so they can repent of their sin, be saved and regenerated by the HOLY spirit, and begin a new life as new creatures walking in sanctification and truth.

You also might want to practice what you preach as calling us names like "homophobes" is in diametric opposition to the behavior that you are advocating for. That's hypocrisy and when you engage in hypocrisy you are being a hypocrite.

I recommend you read the rest of the bible. There are 31,173 verses in the bible. Here's another one:

"but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, 'YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.'" -1 Peter 1:16

or this one:

"Therefore, 'COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,' says the Lord. 'AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you." -2 Corinthians 6:17.

Mark has something to say to you Mark 12:31 - And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Who can throw the first stone?
Rom_5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Sure Homosexuality is wrong. But the question is "how much responsibility do we have to point that out?"
I believe we can point it out and state that it is wrong without condemning and judging or throwing stones (the Holy Spirit will convict in His time). Image if Jesus pointed out all of your Sins all at once. It requires wisdom motivated by Love to know what to say and what not to say.

There is a huge difference between going around condemning sinners in a carnal way and going around approving and promoting sin...as we see our society and even some that call themselves Christians are doing.

I see what you mean. I have a bad habit of sticking my foot in my mouth so I apologize to anyone if I say something that offends them in anyway
Don't apologize when you are speaking absolute truth. So many of us think We are the Holy Spirit, missing the fact that He said HE would do the chastising and reproving.... not us. If fact, He ended that passage by telling us to watch OURSELVES, and repent of our former beliefs.

Oh no thats not what Im saying. Is that what it sounded like? I really do apologize I know its a sin and there going to hell Im just saying we shouldn't make it any worse for them and show them the love of christ so they might repent. Sorry if you misunderstood me or I didn't convey it well enough. I most certianly dont know everything but each day im learning.
You are so much closer to Jesus with this attitude than much of the Christian population.

If you see your neighbor sticking his hand in a fire...
you show your love for him by politely telling him he's going to get hurt, and he should stop.

You don't show your love for people by looking the other way as they destroy themselves.

My mom has (as neihbor) one of them, who got AIDS. Once in a while, I have talked to him, because he is not hated and he is very honest and transparent...
Questions:
Will you shake his hand or hug him on X-mas or by New Year´s celebration?
There are "safety" limits.
Yes. As long as you are not sharing bodily fluids, you are "safe."

Doesnt he also condemn divorce? People dont seem to hate that. Im just repeating what I read but It says There is no other command greater then that.
That point is well taken. We should hate divorce even as God does but like anything else we slowly make excuses for it until it is the latest fad.
Same went for abortion, it seems ok now just don't chop and sell the parts and eventually the same will hold true with homosexuality if the Lord tarries.

Someone disagreeing with the positive acceptance of homosexuality doesn't make one homophobic. It makes one honest in where they stand as well as God's Word. One of the biggest lies in society is that if you don't agree with someone or their lifestyle then you hate them and that's just not true.

Yes its Gods job to judge them. Not ours.
I will not pretend they are not perverts! That said their sin is not more or less than someone gambling, or cheating on their wife, it just may be more harmful. I remember going to the department store with my mother and saw an undeniable gay couple. Back then no one was "out of the closet" then and it was shameful back then.
