Thanks for your eloquent and well intended words, it is just sad that you were not there to tell the people who killed hundreds of thousands of men woman, boys, old people etc etc, that the whom who is free of sin raise the sword and kill all this sinners, and get their land, and rape all their woman using forced marriages......... and that people were their close relatives also.
Sadly, i am disappointed with your on going 'hypocritical' character 'commenting' on and 'mocking' the word of GOD, not having faith to as it is written, while mocking stirring HIS people and challenging HIS righteous justice then and may be later even now perhaps, as Israel did and were punished because of their 'ignorance' to the truth, as it is spoken and written, and to 'abide' them in faith and not by what is seen.

Are you ignorant too as 'identical twins' with Judas Iscariot?

When Mary brought an expensive bottle of perfume and poured them on the feet of JESUS, Judas complained about the wastage, that the perfume could have been sold and the money given to the poor instead. On the surface he sound like a compassionate genius, but on the inside, he is a 'raven wolf. This is Apostle John's 'testimony' about Judas's righteousness that, 'he did not really care for the poor, for he was a thief himself, who would steal money from the money bag'.

Do you really and truly 'feel pity', 'care' and 'love' for these genocide victims, better than their Creator Himself and who is also a 'Deliverer' of all things?

Can you forgive and give any of them Salvation or deliver them from the fires of Hell, or is even their souls with you or in your hands at all?

Can you possibly excavate these genocide victim's 'dry bones and make them into flesh' once again?

The Grace and Truth tells you and me and others like you that, 'for men there are somethings impossible but for GOD all things are possible'. And my 'pitiful and asking for trouble' from GOD, friends please, for all that i am guided to question you, it has happened Biblical historically and the rest will come to pass upon the fulfillment of prophecies.

Witnessing lambs and sheep, please do not take part in this 'spiritual fornication' against the Living GOD. Sadly these are 'waterless pits' and 'unmarked graves', you may pray for their mercy.

Prophet Jonah was angry with the 'just of GOD', when GOD created a tree to shade him from the heat of the sun and soon later sent a worm to devour it and left him again to burn in the heat of the sun. GOD said to him this in Jonah 4;9,10;

"Do you do well to be angry for the plant"? ............................................................................. "You pity the plant for which you did not labor, nor did you make it grow, which came into being in a night and perished in a night. And should not I pity Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know their right hand from their left, and also much cattle?"

Apostle Paul says this in Romans 9;15-25 and please read them all of you.

This justifies and proves that, 'GOD can also destroy and HE can also rebuild'.

As a reminder and a stir up of memory and in humble and humility and mercifully i say to you please, 'ignorant ones and who are asking for trouble', to take place sooner or later, JESUS said to the unbelieving towns during HIS ministry who ignored HIS presence, 'that on that day of judgement, the people of Sodom and Gomorrah will be there to condemn the people of this generation'.

And so on that same day too, the 'genocide victims' will be there too, to condemn you of your 'ignorance' to Salvation.

And so again, witnessing lambs and sheep of the Living GOD given to CHRIST, these GOD destroyed people viciously, will live again to be there on that day?

JESUS said this and it is written in the Gospel that;

"If you speak anything against the SON of man, you can be forgiven, but if you speak anything against the HOLY SPIRIT, you can never be forgiven."

Friends, the HOLY BIBLE is 'inspired' by the HOLY SPIRIT. And an unbeliever stands a chance of forgiveness and Salvation, rather than the one who have 'tasted them' and 'bite back' their Savior.

You can be all the fundamentalist fanatical dogmatic as you whish, is ok, the same wisdom and scripture handling like the supreme priests of the jew religion, they were so just and versed in the Law, that they killed the very son of God.

You belive you are all the perfect you believe, but the Israelites committed genocide and happily document it in the old testament.

And the Australians did it to the Aborigines,
the English did it to the Boers
the Nazi did it to the Jews
the Hutus did it to the Tutsis (do you want me to continue?)

so what is your point here?

As it is written, as JESUS is 'perfect', that HE said;

"Thank you FATHER, You hid these from the wise and prudent and showed it to ordinary people."

And to you in 'caution', that

"Workout your own Salvation in fear and trembling."

"Do not put to test the LORD thy GOD."

"If you are corrected by your LORD thy GOD, do not be discouraged."

"HE corrects the ones HE loves."

" It is dangerous to be concern about what others think of you, trust the LORD and you will safe."

The church is forbidden in taking life. They are commanded by God to love their enemies and to pray for them. We are to bless those that curse us. Jesus said to turn the other cheek if somebody smites you. We are not to repay evil for evil but we are to conquer evil with good. For believers today are under a New Covenant with God in Jesus Christ.Israel was a political power or nation where God was to be their King. This nation was literally supposed to be the arm of God.

The church is not a political power or nation like the Israelite Nation during the Old Testament times. Yes, it is true. God did command the Israelites to wipe out even children. But you have to understand the context and situation, though. God did not just tell them to kill only children. No doubt many of these children were damaged by the horrible sinful ways of their parents. These children no doubt would have corrupted the Israelites with the sin that they had learned from their parents. These children also probably carried many diseases like the animals because many of them were sexually abused in horrible pagan rituals to false gods, too. So the health of the Israelites was at risk. Also, some of these tribes attacked the Israelites in a cowardly fashion from behind (Where the woman and children stayed). No doubt, the Israelites children were probably killed at times during these battles. Can you imagine if your child was killed by evil people? What if your best friend's child was killed, too? How would you feel?

For example: What if a bunch of children today had let loose a deadly virus inside a mountain and if one of them had gotten out, they would in effect put the whole world at risk in being killed. Would the nearby containment team be wrong for shutting them inside the mountain? Would the President of the United States be wrong for ordering a missile strike against that mountain if he knew that one of those children was about to get out (Thereby killing most everyone on the planet)?This is similar to what God was doing with the Israelites. Except the deadly disease was sin and infection that would lead the hearts of the Israelites away from God and put at risk the line of the Messiah which was to save all mankind by dying on the cross for man's sins.As for God taking life: Again, you have to understand that God taking life is not the same as a man taking life. They are in no way the same thing. God created all life. Man did not create all life. God owns all of creation. Man does not own all of creation. God decides who ultimately lives and who dies in this life. Man does not ultimately decide who lives and dies within this life. For even believers die. However, they go to be with God, though. Whereas the unbeliever is placed in a prison and is eventually destroyed in the Lake of Fire.

For you have to understand that this life is but a stage. It is not the ultimate reality God wants us to live in now. There is a reality or realm beyond this one. God lives there and He will make all things new (with a new heavens and new earth) whereby they will be no more death, sickness, disease, or sorrow. But all the evil you see in the world is because of man and not God. God is merely allowing the evil to exist so as to allow more people to repent and join Him within His Kingdom. Yes, God has destroyed many people. But God takes the life of everyone in time. God taking the lives of evil people all at once is not wrong because they have chosen not to act in harmony with His creation. They have chosen to do evil and sin. Those who do evil and sin are not out to do what is good and right like God and those of His Kingdom. So they will perish for their own evil. For even in our own society we eliminate or remove those who are harmful towards others. Also, allowing evil to exist for alll eternity would mean God would be in approval of evil. But that is not going to happen. All evil will be destroyed and God will gain the victory.

As for Fornication in the Old Testament: Well, there are some good answers here already, but if you really are interested in having a relationship with God (Christ), then you will seek to defend God's Word and you will not seek to find problems with it. In other words, research the internet for yourself on those passages that you think are wrong. Try to defend God's Word for a change instead of doubting it and finding fault with it. If you could not be bothered, then most of us here are going to assume you are not a real Christian who seeks to follow Jesus Christ and His good ways. For a true believer's foundation is Jesus Christ and His Word.

Do you understand your example is just completely out of coordination, you comparing a virus with people. will you honestly make this argument in the United Nations assembly?

Is not a matter of defending an idea no matter how dogmatic is, the truth is the truth, and if all this arguments are correct, why Israel did not flourished like that ideal nation you depict, but ended in that mix of races and nationalities we read (sample story of Samson), You saying that all ethnic cleansing and purity wished by God ended failing, and all the genocide was just in vane, because they ended living mixed anyway.

You need to compare reality against your idealisms.

Well, now the only thing they could blame were their own human lust for land and power. You still don't have an argument.

what you mean, you have fully agreed with me, the argument is they blamed on God. So the old testament can not be taken literally.
