"Those dangerous Freemasons". The Masons in my circle of friends are all Christian brothers, and none demonstrate any of the characteristics thrown out here. It's probable that someone close to each of you is a Mason and a Christian at the same time.

A young sailor and his wife and two children were traveling across the country when the engine of their car stopped working. Cashed strapped, the only thing that they could do was call home. Her Uncle, a Mason, contacted a Mason friend in the city that the family was stuck in, and within a couple of hours, the Mason friend found them. He put the family up in a local motel, and fed them while their car repaired. He also paid for the repairs. The couple knew nothing about how everything had been arranged until years later when a not so smart Christian was talking about the "satanic" group called the Freemasons. He met the Mason, he had known for many years, that had arranged the help.

That young sailor was me.

For some reason, we Christians, have a habit of looking for the fault with those we don't know anything about. The so called experts on the subject of the Freemasons provide enough garbage bury all who believe it.
One of my best friends is a Mason. Knight of Malta
I've talked with him and so far it's mot christian what he discussed with me about their faith. Believing and praying to a deiety mix if baal, osiris, yaweh and lucifer isnt Christian. Even less signing up in that name. Plus the rituals etc.

We aren't saying theyre bad people. But the religion...nope its bad

I can only discuss the Masons that I personally know. They are all Christians. None of them are as you describe here. The masons are not a religious organization. They are a fellowship group. One of my friends told me that, regardless of where he is in the world, there is a Mason that will welcome him. They also direct him to a local church.

I am not a Mason, nor would I join them. However, I would not discourage anyone from becoming a member. Especially if the do a lot of traveling. Also. Membership is usually by invitation of another member.
