CFULTZ3, What glory did Jesus have here on earth? Let us go through what GOD AS MAN IS! We know Jesus was with God and that He had the ultimate glory with Father in heaven. And they made Adam to their likeness and their image.

Now! how holy and perfect was that man ADAM that God created? Was he perfect as God is perfect.... Yes he was. God made him in HIS image and likeness. If Adam was not perfect as God is perfect, then God made a reject of Himself. But God made him and God declared it VERY GOOD. A VERY GOOD grade with God has to be PERFECT! And it was.

Now Jesus comes to the earth and HE BECAME MAN... how perfet was he, and what made HIM perfect was the glory of Father God, the Spirit of God IN HIM! This is what hurts me so much... people claim they have the Spirit of God IN them, yet they sin! That is the most blasphemous witness I ever heard. How can anything with God's Spirit in it be doing things Satan have pleasure in or at least God have displeasure in?

Now let us get back on track... What GLORY did Jesus have. What was the level of holiness (sinlessness) Jesus had here on earth? Was Jesus as blameless as the level of sinless perfection? Yes HE WAS! Now Jesus said this in John 17...
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Is this not enough to reproof the lie that nobody is perfect? If Jesus gives me the Glory Father gave Him, am I perfect or not? And answer this question with fear in your soul.... God might recall your answer on judgement day.....
Every person Jesus gives HIS GLORY, is PERFECT! Why? Because HE GIVES HIMSELF, and HE IS ALWAYS PERFECT!

I think you have summorized it well in saying: we in Christ and Christ in the Father. Really, that would be all which matters in the end.

Thinking about, 'is there degrees of infinite perfection', I don't think there are decrees of infinite perfection, but in that same mindset, can one really know all which is to be known of God, even in eternity? I agree with Agape when he suggested that even in the Kingdom, we shall continue to learn of God. The reason I say this is because, what if a time comes when we know all which is to be known, do we then become gods? I cannot with a good conscience say that I am a god. Such a thought leans to much to Greek mythology in their description of demi-gods. But I can, and I am sure you will agree, we will be called sons of God who will be higher than the angels. But as to what that pertains to in innate powers of that sonhood can only be in the subjunctive, seeing that we are not given clean scriptual evidence of what awaits us.

The only sure thing I know of this conversation is that we shall be in the presentional form of Christ, because as He is we shall be. And I guess in the end, as long as we are with our Father and Brother, what else could one ask for?

I have an interesting question for any to answer: how many of you believe that we shall know all things upon entering God's kingdom? Do you believe that all of the faith's witnesses in Heaven know all things as God knows or will we/they continue to infinitly learn?
Perfection I believe must be looked at in it context. I believe that Jesus was perfect but when the cross and his manifestation , and ministry on earth was come he had the potential to sin, else he could not be tempted in all points as we were if there was not the possibility of death, the consequent of sin. But Jesus being faithful remained perfect. Jesus was perfectly obedient but once the cross was set before him he then had the potential to be disobedient, but he remain faithful and and was perfectly obedient , this is why scripture says that he learned obedience by what he suffered. again the scripture says "and being made perfect" And Paul says "run the race set before us" ITs like a student having a perfect set of grades in school. But once he is ,say given another test in order to continue perfect in his grades he has to make another perfect score.Even so with Christ our lord. And if Christ could not have failed then all is in vain for this would say that he was not even tempted if the possibility of failure was not real. but Jesus did not sin ...glory to god Whats more even the Father had a stake in it .the possibility of failure would have meant the loss of all. But his perfect trust in his son and perfect confidence and faith in Jesus shown in his actions , just as Abraham's faith was willing to sacrifice his own son knowing that god was able to even raise him from the dead, and by this demonstrated true faith that was counted for righteousness. I hope i'm making some sense,'im getting tired. As to the next post ,Adam was made perfect in a sense but he didn't have perfect knowledge or understanding for how could he even know what sin or death was without the knowledge of good and evil? but he was perfect in what he knew. Just like a child of young age would not be judge as unrighteous for soiling his diaper but after reaching a certain age it would no longer be acceptable. the same is true of us for some day we will be perfectly perfect but now we are still being changed from glory to glory and by the correction of our loving father . But through this process the love of God covers a multitude of sins and by faith, Christ is our righteousness. and we are perfect in him even though we are not without sin although we are buried with him in baptism and live by his spirit within us. As far as being gods this is what the scriptures really say. It is said of Satan that he ex-halts himself above God ,sitting in the seat of god shewing himself that he is god ,but this is not what i am talking about for all these thing are not of a godly nature .But according to Gods purposes to be made by his grace and love his children and therefore gods is not necessarily prideful and unholy or blasphemous. I don't think we can really preach the true gospel without this teaching . Christ had a different purpose than the father and a unique person hood but still he contained all the fullness of the godhead bodily I m not saying we are the father or Jesus.Like I said i am tired and hope I am conveying my thoughts OK

Note that in the Textus Receptus the word in KJV for 'righteousness' is in the plural.
