The OP member has been a member here for well over 2 yrs and the counsel that he's received here since joining, has NOT HELPED him in the few posts & threads that he has posted and were posted in reply to his.

Will that fall on OUR heads? You bet it will - and the head of every Easy Believeism pusher!
If he was on drugs or idolatry... The kick would be the same?

Foolish legalism!

We can insist on being better then the world we´re trying to scape but our religions and self-rightousness STINKS.

"The Bible says" I can say, but Jesus knows the truth:

Mat 7:21 Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.

You are saying that sir, from your own opinions and viscerality.

Let´s conversely, compare it to Mary Magdaline, as a woman, who sold her body for money (and surely for pleasure). No one forced her to change, and she did changed...

The way we approached to this topic WASN´T the Biblical way Christ would deal with it, and He (Jesus) doesn´t slammed a door to a person who sought Him.

Jn 6:37 Everything and everyone that the Father has given me will come to me, and I won't turn any of them away.

Jua 6:37 All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Jua 6:37 The Father gives me my people. Every one of them will come to me. I will always accept them.

IF he came here to be helped or delivered of his sin, that is equivalent to consistent-adultery [according to HIS Word] then yes.

Mary Magdaline was instantly Super-Saved upon coming face to face with The Master.

Just hit this man's previously posts and tell me he can be compared to Mary and tell me if he "came to Him" Who said the words He said and all that's Written and see if you're not dealing with someone that's heard the truth, heard the Word, but is looking to have one's cake and eat it too in these over 2 yrs that he's visited here and has been in a Church for That long.

Just like saying that I will continue to fornicate and commit adultery for as long as I want and try to get any Christian to pat me on the back and tell me I'm a Christian too so I can go home justified to doing what Jesus said Will Not Enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Man, someone needs to define Reprobate or a lot of people coming here will be going to Hell and their blood WILL be on our heads and we Will be held Accountable when We Stand before the Author of That Book.

Please understand, I have nothing but compassion for this young man. Jesus always loved those with whom he associated but show me one text where Jesus refused to confront sin simply because the sinner or society may have been offended. What Jesus preached was the same as that John preached. "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." This is a call for a transformation of thought, speech, and behavior in every individual.

Please! Excuse me if I took you wrongly but, how miserable a person -any- may feel it seeing the way we approached to this?

This is never an easy subject to confront, but no matter what particular sin may afflict us all, no sinner can ever be brought to repentance if sin is never confronted. If one is not taught the offensiveness of sin toward God then what on earth are they repenting of?

I hope I´d be dismissed to elaborate on the things you don´t want or cannot see regarding what i said: Sexual sins are sins.

If you chose to see mary that way, it´s you beliefs, and I respect your believing but I would dare to recommend reading about the Samaritan who also had 5 "husbands" and the one who was in the risk of being stoned by Jewish legalists.

Friend, you Keep giving examples of Pre-Salvation examples. How long did it take them to get saved or did they hang out with Jesus and His disciples FOR YEARS LOOKING TO BE VALIDATED WHILE KEEPING THEIR SIN?

The ONLY thing this man has started this thread for was to COMPLAIN about this Pastor for revoking his membership and not embracing this man's lifestyle.

It's a LIFESTYLE of sin that sends us to Hell and your examples are of those that were instantly saved when faced with The Word of God made flesh.

Not YEARS of looking for validation for his "Lifestyle" from Christians with no sign of coming here or to that Church to be CHANGED ... Years, Brother, Years.

I've said enough -- HE SAID IT ALL in The Word of God.

Confronting sin is not a matter of casting stones it is a matter of showing others the nature of sin and how sin has separated them from God. John the Baptist taught us this. "So with many other exhortations he preached the gospel to the people. But when Herod the tetrarch was reprimanded by him because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and because of all the wicked things which Herod had done, Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison."

Being gay is not a sin. Shunning him for being such IS! If we are not gathering, then we are surely scattering abroad.

And before anyone start posting verses trying to explain that it is, I ask what do you believe Christ changed with His death? Simply killing sheep and other animals in a building?

well you are not a christian if you are gay(john 14:15), simply become terrified of god knowing that being gay he will send you to hell.

Do you question how homosexuality is represented in scripture. It is never portrayed as anything but sin.

wrong on both accounts, Being gay is sin, and shunning him is not a sin(matthew 7:1-5)

thats why i said he should be come terrified of god, knowing god burns homosexuals in hell, but maybe god gave him up just as romans 1:26-27 says.
Perhaps, but this is something only God will determine.

what do you think? that He suddenly approved all kinds of immorality and wickedness and evil?
He took away the condemnation of the law for all those who will trust in Him, being crucified with Him in the flesh to be raised with Him in new life. if you still let your flesh run wild after its own passions, how to call it "crucified" ?

i was a liar and a thief and a sorcerer and a murderer and a drunkard and all kinds of other terrible things.
those things are not acceptable now before Him any more than they were acceptable before. those things are put to death in me and have no place in Him. when i confess my iniquity before Him and turn away from it, they are now forgiven, but that doesn't mean He expects me to keep walking in them. no, not at all.

who got "saved" from sin and death in order to go on sinning? to keep embracing death?
if i told some elder i still embrace thievery and deceit and witchcraft, should i expect to be put in some honorable position in the congregation? or to be chastened over it?

And you will die because you turn what is good evil, and evil good. If you are an accuser, then who's your father? And if he dies for being gay, then what will you die for??

It is love that covers! It is love that forgives and died while you were yet a sinner. Now I ask. Are you a sinner? If so then who are you to throw stones at another?

I am NOT a sinner! How can I be if Christ lives IN ME? In that I judge no man according to the flesh.

I simply believe and understand that in Christ I am a new creature. I call no man any of those things that will perish upon death. Those things will be shaken and removed. It is the man that will be saved!

Technically, only the act of gay sex is represented as sin, not homosexuality (being attracted to the same sex). I have a question or two, though. Firstly, if homosexual intercourse is a sin (Leviticus) and you staunchly advocate the validity of this teaching, why do you not also advocate the validity of; stoning adulteresses to death (Leviticus); excluding the unclean for a period of time -- unclean being women after childbirth, women on their periods, anyone who touches the skin of a dead pig -- (Leviticus); stoning people caught in the act of gay sex (Leviticus); killing anyone caught worshipping another god other than Yahweh (Leviticus)?

Also, if hell (greek word 'gehenna') is a place where God burns human beings, then why did God in the books of Isaiah and Kings, condemn the people who lived in gehenna (which is a valley outside Jarusalem) before Jesus birth for burning their kin?

I simply believe and understand that in Christ I am a new creature.
does that new creature have a nature that loves sin and perversion?

i simply believe that the those things that lead to death are no part of the regenerated man He has made of me.
if i still consider myself to be the man that chased after these things - if i build again what is destroyed - i have denied the new creation.

He told the woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more.

let those things be shaken, and let them be removed!
