Melchizedek was the king of Salem and the Priest of the Most High God who gave Abram bread and wine :)

Genesis 14

[SUP]18 [/SUP]And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Psalm 110

1{A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head
The Bible is so consistent.

Hebrews 7

For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:21(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec22By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.23And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Peace and Blessings to you all in the name of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

Melchizedek was the king of Salem and the Priest of the Most High God who gave Abram bread and wine :)

Genesis 14

And Jesus is toiday new Priesthood in the order of Melchizedek
Hebrews 7:24but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
Hebrews 7:11[ Jesus Like Melchizedek ] If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?
Hebrews 7:12For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also.
Hebrews 5:10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 6:20where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Melchizedek means King of Righteousness, and He is the King of Salem, or King of Peace. He is also the High Priest to God Almighty. Later in the Word, Zecharia 3 the High Priest to the Almighty God is mentioned again with the name, Joshua, which is from an older form of Yeshua meaning the Salvation of Yahweh. I have no problem knowing Who this High Priest is. By the way, Joshua was being accused by Satan but the Almighty God took away all of Joshua's iniquity.......that is to say, from the flesh He was accepting to inhabit, and He was promised if He did all the Almighty God wanted of Him, He would rule in His courts. There is no real mystery here unless a mystery is wanted.
