Jeremiah 1:4-5

4 Then the word of the*Lord*came unto me, saying,

5*Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

We werent created until we became a living soul. God had to create us. We were thought of by God and our life was already planned out but the day you were born you were created.
However you view it, He calls things that were not, as though they were.

Adam was FORMED. He was shaped from a previously made image. This is the flesh and blood. The dirt that wind/spirit moves to be seen.

I recently started reading the bible and had a question on the 7th and 8th part of genesis. It is kind of random, but when god floods the earth, what happens to the people on earth? Did they go to heaven at this point? Thanks for the help!

I do not think Noah's flood, was world wide; but only the Known Earth, at that time was flooded .

Because at that time the giants, where not in the entire earth ( the reason for the flood of Noah ). It is recorded that after that flood, there was a second influx. But that was after the flood of Noah's time. The rest were destroy in war.

Those people, that died during the flood would have returned to heaven ( 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 ; Ecclesiastes 12:6-8 ) to either side of the gulf there. As recorded in Christs parable of the rich man. Also Peter's teachings of the Prison there, 1 peter 3:18-20 .
