Is there anything in the Bible about God regarding computers? I am definitely being contacted by a powerful force through my computer. It will start typing out messages to me on its own and take me to websites without me touching it, but I don't know if its being used for good or evil. The computer is giving me kind messages, although it has been taking me to some weird websites and I think its God trying to warn me about something. Still I've heard the devil sometimes uses cybernatural phenomenon to try and lure people in. What does the Bible say about God and the cybernatural?

I think I'd start with some powerful antivirus software.
If this is still happening after that, then completely wipe your hard drive, and reinstall everything.

If weird things are still happening after wiping your hard drive... then maybe it's something spiritual.

Dunk the computer in your bath tub, if it still acts weird ..leave.
I suppose Rev. 13 could have some 'computer connection'.

Preterists, get back! get back! calm yourselves...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they had computers when the Bible was written. And if any of the translations mention it then I'd question the translator.

Not saying weird things don't happen, in computers and out of them, but I wouldn't bring a biblical connection to it necessarily.

Just get your laptop checked by IT. There's no such thing as demon-possessed laptops.

When we say that someone is intelligent, we do not mean they possess some thing or some part of them is their intelligence. We never expect a surgeon to proudly announce over a piece of John that this thing is his intelligence. Intelligence is not a thing and appears to be non-material.
Similarly, other qualities we use to describe a person such a lively, happy, brave, and so on, do not appear to be things, but qualities of the spirit.
In the same sort of way, a stone rolling down a hill is not the same as one that isn't moving. Yet the moving stone does not possess some thing which it does not possess when it is stationary. Physicists say it possesses kinetic energy. Also electricity passing through a wire can cause machines to work. Yet in both cases there seems to be something that is not material in any normal sense. When physicists talk about the quantum world, they seem to give up on anything material at all! They begin to talk like Eastern mystics!
The non-material seems to be a real thing in our everyday lives. And when we use the word spirit, we talk about that thing which is the animating force in naturebut which appears to be non-material.
Spirit is therefore something like this, which is non-material, but also intelligent or sentient.
What is spiritual?

Jesus came to save the people from their sins. That was his purpose in casting out demons. To free people.

Not seeing where a computer can sin anywhere. Or anything else inanimate. Only the owner can do that. Only the user can be saved.

Don't blame everything on demons. God is sovereign and in control. Unless you chose to not let him be in control. Then he just may hand you over to Satan.

"you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord." 1 Cor. 5:5

"some have made shipwreck of their faith, [SUP]20 [/SUP]among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme." 1 Tim. 1:19-20

Nothing about computers being handed over to Satan. Well, of course, they did not exist, but books did and statues and idols, and even those things were not possessed by demons in the Bible.

But don't you think Satan can use technology for his gain.....such as the internet. porn, theft, adultary ect....

Only if the person turns from following God and allows Satan to lead him away from righteousness. Like I said, even idols in the Bible were never pointed out as being possessed. So a computer is just a tool, and object. As for Satan using computers for evil, that is the person's choice.

We all have the choice to live for God or not. The source of the temptation is not the issue. The issue is whether we are prepared to follow Christ.

"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?" Matt 16:24-26

"And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one." Matt. 6:13

I'd take your computer to the nearest Service Centre and then yourself to the nearest mental hospital.

I think God doesn't need to "try" to warn you about something. I think he would just warn you.
