Its like he hates those pple that God so desperately loves.

He needs to re-invent himself and his in your face, let me provoke you delivery.
You could always take it up with His advocate I suppose, I wouldn't recommend that though.

I didn't post this so that people could bash the guy. I actually thought it was awesome. I guess I'll have to ask the admins to remove it.

I believe that we have beat the OP to pulp. I feel that most here are mature Christians. Put denominational differences aside and answer the following.

Today a 17 year old young man accepted Christ as his savior. According to the scripture he can expect to live another 55 years. Now what?
Now, IMO, the one who led him to faith has a responsibility to disciple him or connect him with someone who will.

What about trials? Will God give us trials that we can't endure.

I completely agree brother Marc. There are way to many babes in Christ that are left hanging.

Well....last time I checked the law/commandments were there to point you to the righteousness of Christ and as a school master takes us by the hand to the one who can justify us before God by his work and faith.......not saying that we cannot keep from killing, lying etc. But rather that no man can keep every commandment everytime as we all fail....though some will deny, argue and promote self righteousness, no sin and a working for salvation!

Yes he will. So that we learn to turn to him.

Note carefully what he said: “For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life” (2 Corinthians 1:8). [SUP]9 [/SUP]Indeed, we personally had a death sentence within ourselves, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead. [SUP]10 [/SUP]He has delivered us from such a terrible death, and He will deliver us.

Hello Kefa.

Note carefully..................can any believer turn to Him? Yes. Most choose not to. It is not the fact that He is not there to turn to, most just don't.

As we grow, we will see that the option was always there, we just chose not to turn to Him.

He gives every believer a way out, and the option is ALWAYS there.........we just have neglected doctrine, or chose to go our own way.

kefa speaks words of wisdom gr8grace. The Lord has and can cause afflictions to great to bare.
For what ever his reasoning is he will get his message across.

We forget sometimes on who we are addressing, we get to causal in our approach, we get to puffed up, what ever the reason God will have his way. He made you and knows what buttons to push so you will drop to your knees. Or on your face. Make no mistake about that.

No God doesn't. If that were true Christians would be dropping like flies. Dropping to our knees is not to much to bear. To much to bear would be God taking us home because we could not endure what was happening.

We do get to casual in our approach............ a just and righteous God is not going to give the believer more than they can handle.

The majority of the time we just see believers throwing their hands up because the don't KNOW what they have(Study/mind of Christ)

New Living Translation
Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had.

Gr8grace I told you a truth...Now I don't know if the Lord has broken you or not, but if he hasn't he will.I'm not talking about a tear jerking moment, I'm talking about a heart wrenching, darkness that many have experienced.
Your right dropping to your knees is not much to bare...being put to your knees is another story.

Some people respond to tough love I think, I think of those people who minister on Youtube and you'll find sweet people and you'll find people who are like drill instructors. Also makes me think of people who join the Military and embrace that kind of order and instruction. Makes you wonder if that's how God Himself would present Himself to these people.
