I would like you all to read Psalms 5,7 and 9 and tell me what God is saying about his hatred of the wicked

It is noteworthy how the Hebrew word for destroy and perish is "abad" meaning to wander away, and another word used is "machah", to erase. God hates wickedness, so He separates himself from it. That is why the wicked perish, and why are thus erased.

He more than separates Himself from it...which is what hell is...the complete absence of God and all that is good because all that is good finds its source in God..I also found another reference at the end of Psalm 11....He HATES the wicked...now we are to love our enemies because we do not know who God's enemies really are until all has been revealed..while we were once enemies of God, God showed His love by having Jesus die for us...that is for those who God has chosen and empowered to turn to Him in love and turn from their sins..without God we can do nothing to lay hold of salvation

That's a good comparison. A person can change from an enemy of God to a saved person on their way to heaven in less than a minute.

Inorder for us to know God we have to understand who God is ........He is a God of holiness and righteousness a God of order ,structure and design ......he is full of love, mercy and compassion ........God is also long-suffering . But we also have to understand the God of wrath when we disobey he has to judge us and in so doing his wrath will fall upon the sinful ,the one who consistently performs evil in the sight of God.......He is the same yesterday ,todaY AND FOREVERMORE. mATURITY ENABLES US TO UNDERSTAND WHO God is

One interjection on the hatred of God. God hates sin not people, however if those people reject Him and love their sin that's a different story. I will put it like this, If you see your son smoking pot, you don't hate your son. You hat what he is doing. I think that makes since.
