Old Testament;

Deuteronomy 10:16, “And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more.”

New Testament

1 Corinthians 7:19, The circumcision is naught, and the uncircumcision is naught, but the guarding of the commands of Yah does matter!”

Old Testament;

Psalms 62:9-12, “Sons of Aḏam are but a breath, Sons of men are a lie; If weighed in the scales, They are altogether lighter than breath. Do not trust in oppression. And do not become vain in robbery; If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them. The Mighty One has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That strength belongs to Yah. And loving-commitment is Yours, O יהוה; For You reward each one according to his work.”

New Testament

John 5:28-30, “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the tombs shall hear His voice, and shall come forth – those who have done righteousness, to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil matters, to a resurrection of judgment. Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.”

those who do righteousness

only those who abide in the vine bears a fruit and the fruit of Holy Spirit is love

John 15
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

one may rest in sabbath but do not have love

We must abide in Yahshua/the vine, 100% for this is being in the Spirit of Yah.

And about the Sabbath, one can "rest" in the Sabbath without love, but that is a man made honoring of it, nobody can fool YHWH. The purpose of the Sabbath is not to sit and do nothing, it is to not do ones own will/works but spendd the day doing YHWH's will:

Old Testament:

Psalm 9:7-8, “But יהוה abides forever, He is preparing His throne for judgment. And He judges the world in righteousness, He judges the peoples in straightness.”

And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights. And the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Strength Almighty. And on His robe and on His banner He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS."

We should abie in Him ever minute of every day I agree. Only one day has been set apart by the Creator, and He di so at Creation. It is a common accusation that people say oh "so you only worship Him on Saturday" this is not accurate. In my experience when I have and when I do guard the set apart day, the 7th day, it centers me upoin Him for the rest of the week, and rather tham some one day a week focus, it strengthens me in Him for very day of the week. BUt every day is not a set apart day, only 7th day is.

Afternoon squire

Thanks for responding.
Hopefully I can explain myself a bit better.

Yes we are to make disciples

Matthew 28:19-20
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

So we have 3 steps

Going, baptising and teaching

We can't baptise someone who does believe.
How do they believe?
By hearing the good news of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, for the forgiveness of sins.
Most people we evangelise today or start coming to church probably know nothing of the OT, and very little of the NT.
Good morning sir,
True but they have to have a basic understanding of sin and for the most part they have to know the Ten Commandments They in short tell us what sin is. This they must know in order to understand what they are cleansed of, forgiven of, and given victory over. If we are sharing the Gospel without sharing what sin is; we are not sharing the Gospel.

So to me it's preaching the good news as Peter did in Acts and as Paul did with the gentiles.

To repent of their sin (unbelief) in Jesus
Just for your information. If you read from the KJV. Most of the time you see the word unbelief it is apeitheia (ap-ei'-thei-ah) in the Greek, Are you familiar with the BDAG Lexicon? It is considered by most Scholars as the go to for referencing Greek word definitions and their etymology.

Here is their findings, " ἀπείθεια, ας, ἡ (s. ἀπειθής; X., Mem. 3, 5, 5 et al.; ins; pap; 4 Macc 8:9, 18: 12:4; PsSol 17:20) disobedience, in our lit. always of disob. toward God (cp. Jos., Ant. 3, 316); somet. w. the connotation of disbelief in the Christian gospel..."

I know it it might be a bit overwhelming with the abbreviations. I highlighted in bold the definition and their reference points they used to come to their conclusion for the definition. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask and we will try to get through it.

So to me it's preaching the good news as Peter did in Acts and as Paul did with the gentiles.

To repent of their sin (unbelief) in Jesus
and to do so is to
Romans 10:8-13
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:6-8 are my favorite text I think Bill. Forgive me for my redundancy. But at this point if do not repost what was shared to me on these verses I would feel as if I was not doing as I was meant to do. So with that being said,GOD has said, "Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (That is, to bring Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes) down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; the Word, the commandments; HIS Statutes manifested in the flesh, our flesh through His flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, in thy heart, and in thy hand: that we may do it; that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach. And that is the Gospel, the Kingdom of GOD (CHRIST) in you. For GOD hath said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." And HE shall be our GOD and we shall be HIS people, for it is GOD that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Christ (the Word, His Commandments, GOD's will) in us the hope of Glory. For without this faith (the Word; HIS Christ; His Commandments; HIS Statutes in our hearts and in our minds) it is impossible to please GOD. This the righteousness of GOD being manifested. The righteousness which is by the Faith of Jesus Christ; into all and upon all them that believe for there is no difference.

The verses in Romans 10:6-8; Deut. 30:11-14 ; Hebrews 8:10,11; Jeremiah 31:33 are all speaking of GOD's gift of enabling us through HIS Spirit to be as HE would have us be. They are speaking the same thing. Please notice that this gift which is the Good News; the Gospel was availed to us from the beginning of Moses ministry if not even from the time of the fall in Eden. If Enoch walk with GOD he walked though GOD to do it. Romans 10 is paraphrasing the text found in Deut. 30. Which is being given by GOD through Moses in the present tense. So once again we share; let's walk in Faith; the FAITH that has been placed in our hearts that we do it, and we shall, not fulfill the lust of the flesh!. Christ in us the EXPECTATION of GLORY; GOD!

I think at one point Bill you had asked what statutes or what Laws, Commandments or Word. First I must share that in Deut 30:9- 14 the Judgments are not mentioned. So basically just looking at those text and those found in Romans we are dealing with Commandments, statutes the Word and Christ in our hearts and mouths that we do them. GOD said that all the law hangs; depends on love. So with that understood in relation to the Commandments if we love GOD and our fellow man we will keep (guard) the Ten commandments that have been placed in our Hearts so we do not lose them. They are all dependent upon one another also. We can't love GOD without loving our fellow man and we can't love our fellow man without loving GOD. The Statutes are also mentioned in Deut 30. These also must be considered in the same light. And all this is encapsulated in the Word (divine utterances) of GOD; HIS Christ. That is why Romans 10:6-8 make the parallel between Christ and the Greek word rhema (the word; divine utterances). It is all that is contained in the word; Christ and this is what is in our hearts. And this heart transformation is how we do it. Not I; Christ; the Holy Spirit; God worketh in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Our sufficiency is not of our selves but of GOD.
What perturbs me a bit is that the can and alas does, it leaves it at that.

To me that's where teaching comes in.
A new believer needs to be discipled in the ways of Jesus.
What it actually means to be in Jesus and what it means to have Jesus in you.
Yes But once again you can repent from sin and be forgiven, cleansed and be given victory over it unless you know what it is. It is more of a reminding of what HE has already done in our hearts.
Because Jesus the Word was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. That which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Divinity; so that they are without excuse: For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

(Joh 1:9;Rom 1:18-20 2:14-15 KJV)

With regards baptism.

These are my thoughts.
In the time of the early church the idea of an unbaptised believer was foreign

Baptism does not save.
However baptism is the outwork expression of the inward faith in Jesus.
Baptism to me is a spiritual marker in one's life.
Someone who comes to faith should be baptised ASAP.
Amen and Well said Bill!

There is a tendency in today's church that people are not baptised until they prove themselves, therefore they do not get baptised because they feel they need to be perfect.

Also there is a tendency to have to stand up and give a big testimony. A lot of people are not comfortable with this.
I have spoken to a few people who fell foul of the above 2 points.

I just said, if you are going to wait to be perfect you ain't ever gonna get baptised. Go get baptised.
Also no big testimony is needed, just stand up and say "I'm getting baptised because I believe in Jesus and has asked me to get baptised"

These are my thoughts.
Pressuring people into something is never good. Those are some good thoughts. Thanks for sharing Bill. I look for to your reply!
Have a blessed Day!

UNREPENTANT SIN WILL KEEP YOU OUT OF GOD’S KINGDOM

KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will keep you out of God's Kingdom.

If we do not REPENT of our SINS and our FAITH does not work by LOVE that produces the FRUIT OF OBEDIENCE you WILL be lost.

The FRUIT of OBEDIENCE that works by LOVE through FAITH IN GOD'S WORD is the Gift OF GOD in those that FOLLOW GOD'S WORD and WALK IN HIS SPIRIT.

OBEDIENCE to GOD'S WORD and KEEPING ALL GOD'S COMMANDMENTS through FAITH is a SIGN that of the true believers because they follow God's WORD by faith in love (Revelations 12:17; 14:12:22:14; 1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:3-10; Romans 13:8-10).

IF your life has even ONE KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN it is enough to KEEP you OUT of GOD'S KINGDOM as your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE and is dead and if there is NO FRUIT then the tree must be cast down and burned (Matthew 7:16-27; James 2:18; 20; 26)

For example it is written...........................

Hebrews 10
26, For IF WE SIN WILLFULLY AFTER THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE REMAINS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS,
27, BUT A FEARFUL LOOKING FOR OF JUDGEMENT AND FIERY INDIGNATION, WHICH SHALL DEVOUR THE ADVERSARIES.

Hebrews 6
4, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7, For the earth which drinks in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8, But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

1 John 2:2-4
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3:3-10
3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

Psalms 1
5, Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6, For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

2 Peter 2
3, And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
4, For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5, And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6, And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
7, And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

Jude 1
14, And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Ecclesiastes 12
13, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14, For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Isaiah 1
28,
And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

Isaiah 13
9, Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isaiah 33
14, The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15, He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16, He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Proverb 8
36, But he that sins against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death

Ezekiel 18
4, Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
20, The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21, But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22, All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23, Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
24, But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25, Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
26, When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
27, Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
28, Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
29, Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
30, Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31, Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32, For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves , and live ye.

Proverbs 28
9, He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Ezekiel 33
10, Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
11, Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
12, Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
13, When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
14, Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 , I f the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16, None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Romans 6
23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you keep 9 commandments and break 1 it is enough to Keep all who DISOBEY God out of HIS Kingdom (James 2:8-12)

IN times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we break any one of the ten we stand guilty before God of SIN (James 2:8-11) and need to repent and seek his forgiveness (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). Those that continue a life in known unrepentant sin will not enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is NO SCRIPTURE that says that God's 4th commandment has been ABOLISHED and we are now COMMANDED to keep Sunday as a HOLY day

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

"I write to you little children because your sins are forgiven." "Having forgiveness of sins through the riches of His grace." If we go about trying to fulfill the Law we are not under Grace but a fearful judgment and imposing this on others, misery loves company. But those under law help convince of the freedom we have in Christ, that they can't enjoy because of fear. "Whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Neither does God need our help to save those under the Law, He already did the work. We are where we are because of the measure of His Love in our hearts, "The merciful shall obtain mercy."

There is indeed FORGIVENESS of SIN for those that SEEK the Lord in REPENTANCE and CONFESSION through FAITH. However, if you are still practicing KNOWN SIN then you are still IN your SINS and have neither SEEN him or KNOW him (1 John 3:6). It is SIN that will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom because they have not accepted the GIFT of God's dear son (Romans 6:23).

It is those who are in their SINS that are "Under the LAW" because they stand guilty before God in SIN and it is SIN that will keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom (

Hebrews 10
26, For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

31,
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

No one is telling anyone they are saved by keeping God's LAW. We are ONLY saved by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of OURSELVES it is a GIFT OF GOD and not of WORKS Lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8)

It's never been about following the law its always been about following Christ by faith through love alone. Faith that works by love is what fulfills God's Law in those that walk in His Spirit (Romans 13:8-10).

Obedience is only the fruit of faith and a sign that someone is genuinely following God's Word (Matthew 7:17-27). If you seek obedience without faith you will never attain it because this is the gift of God written on the heart (Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 2:16; Hebrews 8:10-12).

But if you believe God's Word, your faith will be counted for righteousness in God's eyes (Romans 1:17; Philippians 3:9). If your faith does not have the fruit of obedience (God's work in you) than you are still in your sins and have not seen him or known him and your faith is dead (Philippians 2:13; Hebrews 10:26-27; 1 John 2:2-4; 1 John 3:3-9).

What we are talking about is SIN and how SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom. If you profess to have saving FAITH but your faith does NOT have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's Word then your faith is DEAD and you are still in your SINS and do not KNOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE all as he first LOVED us. LOVE is the fulfilling of the LAW in those who walk by FAITH in God's Spirit. (James 2:18; 20; 26; Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 3:3-10; James 2:8-12; Matthew 7:13-20)

There are only two classes of people spoken about in God's Word. These are those that follow God by Faith through LOVE and those that do not. Those that do NOT BELIEVE have rejected His Word. Those that have NOT Heard the WORD are ignorant and God winks at. Those that have heard the Word however and have rejected God's Word are UNBELIEVERS and unless they repent and confess their SINS they WILL NOT Enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Love God forever, your the one that helped me see the whole law is abolished. I hope you can also help yourself see, "Mercy rejoices against judgment." "And that "Sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under grace."

I don't need to fix what you believe, neither could I, neither do you need to fix what I believe: for me the Sabbath rest is, "Now is the accepted time of renewal," and honor every day alike and convinced without needing to fix what you believe. I'm also able to accept those who honor a day like Sunday above another. There are people in the Seventh day Adventist church who believe like I do: that they should be called seven day Adventist: Honoring the Lord every day alike, have heard it preached at a Seventh day Adventist camp meting. You are where you are because of the extent of His Love and Grace in you and same with me, and that is the end of the Commandment: Love out of a pure heart and sincere faith and a clean conscience.

I had a dream that exposed me as a sinner still, yesterday morning, and thinking I should end the retreat 2 days early and leave in the morning: feeling unable to proceed further. Then woke up at midnight last night, with the Lord addressing me: What was your purpose in coming here. I replied: To find my purpose. He said, Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you." I then asked Him a few question, and then He told me: Don't forget your purpose, and that i was to: Remain to continue to appear before God. Most of us have difficulty spending time alone because of insecurity, also reflected in relationships. Still on the retreat, at the library having a break from the rain.

What I gained from you is convinced that Christ abolished the Law, already know that we are not judged according to our sins, but according to the measure of His Love in our hearts.

Hello stillness, some comments for you below my friend.

Love God forever, your the one that helped me see the whole law is abolished. I hope you can also help yourself see, "Mercy rejoices against judgment." "And that "Sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under grace."
Mercy does indeed rejoice in judgement but only according to God's Word because if your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then it is not the FAITH that will save you because you are still in your SINS and if this is the case then it is written; For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? (James 2:13-14).

God's LAW (10 commandments) however are forever. It is the standard of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS. It is the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4). Without God's LAW no one can know what SIN is. If you do not know what SIN is you have no need of a Savior. If you have no need of a Savior you have no SALVATION. If you have no SALVATION you are LOST in your SINS because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son. (Romans 2:12; Romans 6:23).

God's LAW brings us to Christ that we might see him who LOVES us to free us from the burden that is upon our back (SIN) without God's LAW you are still in your SINS because you do not know what your burden is. (Gal 3:24-25; Romans 10:4; Romans 3:31; Romans 8:1-4).

It is the Mosaic laws for remission of sin that were the shadows of things to come and nailed to the cross with our sins, because they pointed ALL to Jesus, God's LAMB that takes away the sins of the World.

God's LAW (10 commandments) however are FOREVER and show God's Character of LOVE. Breaking God's LAW shows what SIN is. If we keep 9/10 commandments it is not enough because the scriptures say that if we break one commandments we stand guilty before God of breaking ALL of God's commandments. If we through FAITH the works by LOVE keep 9/10 of God's commandments it is the ONE KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN that will keep all who practice it out of the Kingdom of Heaven.

In times of IGNORANCE God winks at but when he gives us a KNOWLEDGE of His truth calls all men everywhere to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31; Matthew 4:17)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

We must seek first for God's Kingdom above all things and BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD through FAITH. If you have FAITH and KNOW God's WORD (Jesus the Savior) it is the POWER OF God unto salvation to everyone who BELIEVES. God's LAW (10 commandments) then become His exceeding GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES to make you a PARTAKER of the DIVINE NATURE to those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW HIM (2 Peter 1:4)

Love is indeed the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who through FAITH walk in His Spirit. This is the NEW Covenant of the broken heart that only the true physician can repair. Our God did not come to call the righteous, those that have no need of salvation but SINNERS he calls to repentance. Many do not know they are sick and he bids them go learn what that means. God's LAW (the 10 commandments) is the mirror that all must look into to see themselves as God sees them so that they may see him who LOVES all.

If you KNOWINGLY break Gods LAW and do not have REPENTANCE or seek God's FORGIVENESS then you are still in your SINS. If we through FAITH the works by LOVE keep 9/10 of God's commandments it is the ONE KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN that will keep all who practice it out of the Kingdom of Heaven (James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:6).

We should worship and honor God everyday but God's 4th commandment is a specific commandment to those who LOVE GOD. We are commanded to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to keep it a HOLY day and no WORK is to be done on this day...

Exodus 20
8, Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why? Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY?>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

If we break it just like any of the other ten commandments we stand guilty before God in SIN and need to SEEK God in repentance and confession for FORGIVENESS through FAITH.

He said, Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you." What I gained from you is convinced that Christ abolished the Law, already know that we are not judged according to our sins, but according to the measure of His Love in our hearts.
You should take HEED to this dream and BELIEVE God's WORD and REPENT and BELIEVE the Gospel because the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND. The 4th commandment is one of the Ten and if we knowingly break any of the 10 commandments we stand guilty before God in SIN. Perhaps God is showing you something stillness and has lead you here to know His truth... NO LAW NO SIN NO SAVIOR NO SALVATION. God's LAW (10 commandments) is the knowledge of Good and Evil or SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS. The Mosaic laws on the other hand pointing to Jesus are the ones we no longer under in the New Covenant.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

Yes indeed, just the same as hearing the Word of God and not FOLLOWING it is unbelief (James 2:18; 20; 26; Matthew 7:12-27). By Grace are you saved through Faith and not of yourselves it is a Gift of God and not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8)

Isn't it ironic, that keeping sabbath according to the command of God is to 'not go out' from where you are on that day, so that the fact most believers go out and meet on the 8th day instead of the 7th, and have done so for 2,000 years, means that they do not break the sabbath by this, since it isn't the 7th day - yet in the last century the SDA has risen up accusing all the church of profaning the sabbath by gathering to worship and to celebrate Christ's resurrection on the day of the week that He rose - which isn't keeping sabbath, it's not even the purpose of our congregating - but the SDAs command is that we should actually break the sabbath by going out of our houses on that day, specifically contradicting God's command?

Ironic how someone can claim to be 'the voice of God' to all us heathens by repeatedly posting over and over the assertion that worshipping God equals breaking His commandment.

Well maybe not ironic so much as distressingly ugly & woefully confused. :(
